We are in the midst of a narrative shift, apparent in the about face we're seeing governments and corporate media take in the ever-present propaganda spew. What was unacceptable speech a month ago is now acceptable government and media talking points. What used to get you kicked off of social media are now BBC headlines.

The question we address today is: why? While the tweetosphere is ringing with cheers about how "freedom won!" and the like, there's no real reason to believe this is the case. Nothing immediately obvious has changed in the grand scheme of things.

I will try to watch this...seriously, I will. But, you can infer that I haven't, but I do have this thought regarding "narrative". A few thoughts.

1. My wife, a 2nd Grade Elementary school teacher told me more than a year ago, the "concept" of "narrative" was in the curriculum. We got into a heated argument about that and the argument still hasn't been resolved yet, but we still hug and kiss. In my opinion, it is premature to try to teach that to a kid just 7 or 8 years old or whatever.

2. The best narratives flow smoothly - and ones receiving "the narrative" simply enjoy it.

3. Most narratives are not like #2 above.

4. When the narrative pushers are forced to change on a dime, it means they have lost the incentive.

5. In battle, incentive is crucial with respect to victory because the "one who goes first" often prevails, and generally narrative changing rapidly is not " part of the plan " (See #2 above).

6. Once you lose the "narrative", there is no getting it back.

7. Crimes of the Century if not the Millenia, if not Crimes of All Times, are being committed as I type this and been going on in earnest since what.....lets just say 2019 or so but we know it is more complicated than that......and the kids the ones who are the target of this evil "narrative".

8. Don't you think it is high-time for some discriminate Justified Retribution ?

If your one of those that for the previous 2 years - endorsed the Lie, then the treatment has been successfully injected, behaviour/mental-make up adjusted, to a suitable degree. So, for those, the easing of restrictions means little to nothing.

i was seeing the first part of this one. they are obviously correct in that the "vaccine" is not working with regard to preventing omicron.

(which the vaccines were btw never designed to prevent, since that variant was not there when the vaccs were designed).

however; it is also clear by now that 90% of all of the countries in the world have performed better than the us when it comes to overall death-rates and restrictions the last few years.

eg, where i live we are "all" both vaxed and have had covid, but we do still not die like you americans.

our societies are also for the most part fully open.

rakarb I believe you may be unfamiliar with how measurements are taken. From the World Population Review for the year 2021 (listed as 2022). The site is locked and will not allow me to provide a working link. Please go to "worldpopulationreview.com" for the year 2022. Your statements concerning the U.S. are unschooled and unresearched and simply presuppositions on your part.

You must define death rate per 1,000 people in order to make a comparative measurement. All listings are normally done in this manner. Here are the deaths per 1,000 people in 2021 from a few representative countries. I would put them in a listing, but we both know that SOTT's site will put a space between each one.

Starting with the most deaths and decreasing:

Bulgaria - 15.433; Russia - 12.785; Germany - 11.275; Japan - 10.646; Austria - 9.896; Finland - 9.795; U.K. - 9.398; Sweden - 9.165; U.S.A. - 8.782; Norway - 7.979; India - 7.273; New Zealand - 7.033; Australia - 6.622; Ireland - 6.139.

The country with the lowest death rate was Qatar with 1.244.

The U.S. appears nearly in the middle--maybe slightly above.

Restrictions? We have states like Texas and Florida who opened up very early or states like South Dakota who never really placed restrictions on their citizens. We have states like New York and California who have placed extremely heavy restrictions and penalities on their citizens.

So, I'm not sure what you mean. Much of Europe and the U.K. have had enormously draconian restrictions. Austria is mandating universal vaccination. Biden has tried to implement as many restrictions as he could and been significantly struck down in U.S. courts.

The American temperment, in general, hates restrictions. Conservatives and people who have followed the Covid narrative while looking at actual studies and statistics have denounced them. Liberals represent the most fearful group of people in our country, as shown by surveys, and often don't want restrictions lifted. Many liberals who have gotten the shot and have gotten "breakthrough cases" in their family or they themselves are currently getting fed up and beginning to denounce restrictions. Some governments like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, and Germany appear to continue enforcing completely insane totalitarian restrictions despite what their citizens want.

While government keep pushing (federal assembly and president have agreed and signed), the mandatory vaxx law already falls apart. An associated "great" lottery for the vaxxed in the MSM had been cancelled. The socialist party was forced to withdraw a libelous pro-vaxx ad campaign, forcing some high-ranking party officials to resign. The Red Cross organisation, heavily involved in the "mobile vaxx bus" logistics and vaxxing personnel during the last months has bailed out, and will not participate anymore. And the legal trap had been put in place as well. The constitutional court had sent a catalog of 3 dozen hard questions for the government, about definitions, numbers and statistics in less then 2 weeks.

So, the plan seems to keep face and not admit defeat by the mob, and have the law refuted as unconstitutional, probably in less then 6 weeks. But then, the real battle only begins. If nothing tremendous happens on the way ...

OTOH, I can understand the motivation of the psychopaths in the government. For some reason, Austria was selected by TBTP as a testbed for such a general mandate, perhaps because of it's German (dominating servile spirit), government corruption, and smaller size (about 8,5 millions instead of 82 millions in Germany). Germany and the rest of the EU would have been next. But especially Germany, as the deagel.com forecast for 2025 showed. So much for their emphasis.

But even that did not work out too well. There is a lot more going on here, I just don't have the time to collect all the information, process it, and write it down here. But the plandemic narrative geoes downhill everywhere around us. And the current government is aware that they will go down with this law. A dissolution of the parliament and snap election are already requested and discussed.

My forecast: there are plans for a Canada-style convoy to Vienna (besides of many others in Europe) in the begin of march. I suppose they will use it to trigger some chaos, either said dissolution of government down to local level, or blackouts lasting for days. Officials had been talking about the latter for months here. Or some other way to retreat in the least dishonorable way ...

I lived through the collapse of the Eastern Bloc, and despite the general direction changed within a few days and it became obvious that the system was doomed, it took months for political games and legal proceedings to reflect it. I expect something similar here. First the restrictions are lifted, and failure is admitted.
