"Of note today,
the president's labs demonstrated detectable levels of SARS-CoV-2 IgG (COVID-19) antibodies from labs drawn Monday, October 5th," Conley wrote in a memo sent to reporters. He added that the president's blood work drawn on Thursday did not show any antibodies.
Conley said that President Trump had been "symptom-free" for over 24 hours and fever-free for more than 4 days.
"His physical exam and vital signs including oxygen saturation and respiratory rate all remain stable and in normal range," Conley wrote. "He's now been fever-free for more than 4 days, symptom-free for over 24 hours."
The president is scheduled to debate former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday, October 15th, in Miami. Biden on Tuesday appeared skeptical that the debate could still take place.
"I think if he still has COVID, we shouldn't have a debate. I think we're gonna have to follow very strict guidelines. Too many people have been infected and it's a very serious problem."
Biden said that he would be guided by the doctors of the Cleveland Clinic, who are in charge of handling the debate safety protocol for COVID-19.
Trump has already said he is looking forward to the debate.
Comment: Antibody drug 'Regeneron' gets
a rave review from President Trump as 'key to his recovery'. He offers promises to the public:
Trump revealed he is approving emergency use authorization of the antibody cocktail to hospitals and "hundreds of thousands of doses" are almost ready to be sent out. The military, according to Trump, will be in charge of the distribution.
"If you're in the hospital, and you're feeling really bad, I think we're going to work so you get them and you're going to get them free. I caught it, I heard about this drug, I said 'let me take it.' It was my suggestion."
The Regeneron antibody cocktail is still in clinical trials and not widely available to citizens. Trump was given the treatment thanks to a "compassion use" request from his doctors, which allows patients access to experimental drugs to fight life-threatening illnesses.
He also promised the drug would be free once it's distributed, which some have already begun questioning the practicality of on social media.
The president was also treated with antiviral drug remdesivir and the steroid dexamethasone.
You either (99%+) get better or you die.
All this nonsense treating someone who WAS infected and got better days ago like the plague is absurd.
