Totalitarian hell: Sweden votes to extend smoking ban to most public places

Sweden is banning outdoor smoking in certain public places, including playgrounds and train station platforms.

In a 142-120 vote on Wednesday, the Riksdagen extended the smoking ban as of July 1, 2019.

Smoking in outdoor restaurants and entrances to booths for smokers will also be banned.

In Sweden, smoking is currently allowed in designated smoking areas in most workplaces and public places.

Official figures show only 11 per cent of the Swedish population of 10 million smoked daily in 2016, with about 10 percent smoking occasionally.

In May 2005, Sweden banned smoking in bars and restaurants.

According to the new law, the goal is to make the Scandinavian country smoke-free by 2025.

There are 2 reasons for the global powers to go after smoking and vilifying smokers in such Orwellian manner.

Pull out any crime database, and see for yourself the influence of alcohol. And then pull out a database of scientists, thinkers, philosophers and ascetics- see the amazing correlation with smoking.

The new world order would not like to promote thinkers, and numbing down is a must.

Anything in excess is bad, so also is the same for smoking. It does affect the lungs. But I am willing to settle for it....for my brain remains sharp. In any case the poison emmissions of development ushered in through the gas guzzling transports, and toxic fumes of industries are killing my entire body by the minutes. But smoking gives me peace.

The second reason is the "Cocaine business" model. By demand and supply rule, 1 kg of cocaine will be cheaper than a kilo of premium Darjeeling tea. But by making it illegal, you can turn it into something costlier than gold.

Before you can make it illegal, you can make it evil. This opens up another brilliant way of making money- you make an assured income through taxes. In India, there is a annual ritual of raising the price of cigarettes by Rs.5. Now, a 64 mm cigarette pack of 10 is Rs.50. The cost of production is Rs.2. The profit cones from a simple act of pronouncing nicotine as evil.

However, another interesting fact you should know- In India, though the government, feminists, doctors, progressive minds, and therefore politicians....all are so very worried about restoring me to sanity, that they are steeply hiking cigarette prices, admonishing and scaring me through "scientific knowledge"...I, the educated middle class constitute only 20% of the smoking pool.

So, who are the 80%? The rural people relying on hand rolled bidis. They pay 20% tax, and smoke 40 bidis a day. As you can see.... smoking is not bad there.

They are the labor class. They won't ever be a threat through activation of brain, you see. But they will be....through raw brute force. Hence science harps a different tune there.

Well, you have to be able to enforce which isn't really possible. I doubt anyone really voted for this. It's just another edict, another top down directive, like we worked for these scumbags, and it really doesn't matter whether you smoke or not. It's like we rule and you follow orders. That kind of mentality. So they write you ticket for smoking, what do you do, you firebomb the police station of course.

Human stupidity is the only unlimited saturation that can destroy the biosphere. Luckily a great reset of a different sort is on the way. [Link]
