Comment: So how exactly will they be able to defined "unexpected objects" and why would a parked car be considered unexpected? Sounds like there are some fundamental flaws in how this automated vehicle is supposed to work.A parked car parked improperly would be unexpected, but a properly parked car would not be. If the system did not track and predict the pedestrian's movement into traffic, then the system programming is fatally flawed. Uber has taken a lot of shortcuts trying to be the first. This is what happens when you cut corners.
