The Los Angeles Police Department won't be pursuing the investigation it launched into Corey Feldman's childhood sexual abuse claims.

LAPD officials confirmed to Page Six on Thursday that the alleged incident is "out of statute," according to California law, and the robbery-homicide detectives have "no other avenues" to follow with the case.

Feldman later responded to the news on Twitter, writing, "MAYBE NOW U WILL #BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY I NEED 2 DO IT MY WAY."

Feldman, 46, met with LAPD officials Monday to discuss his allegations. Police officials told Page Six they wouldn't be identifying any suspects, but last week Feldman named bit actor and his former assistant Jon Grissom as one of his alleged abusers during an appearance on "Dr. Oz." He also claimed Grissom abused the late actor Corey Haim.

On "Megyn Kelly Today," Feldman also named child talent manager and convicted sex offender Marty Weiss, who has not commented on the allegations.
