The film's producers ran into a dilemma when filling out Oscar paperwork, which required them to classify Mantle, who was born a man, as either male or female. Mantle was submitted for consideration in both categories, and the Academy confirmed that the performer can be nominated in either one.
"Confessions of a Womanizer" had its world premiere at the Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, Calif. back in March 2014, and hit U.S. theaters this Oct. 14. The film has taken home numerous awards, including best narrative feature film and best director at the 2014 Los Angeles Underground Film Festival, and best feature film at the Tupelo Film Festival, Twin Rivers Media Festival and High Desert Film Festival, all in 2014.
The Actors Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences divided the Acting reminder list into male and female categories just two years ago. Previously, reminder lists didn't distinguish potential nominees by gender — all eligible cast members were listed together. But Mantle is the first person to be submitted in both male and female categories — and is eligible to take home hardware in either one.
Complete gibberish; as if you were a closet queen trying to pretend you're straight while caught in complete drag and preforming unmentionable acts in the men's bathroom stall.
There is no such thing as gender fluid. I believe we call this bisexual. Whereas a transexual is someone who is born one sex but says they are the opposite. While a tranvestite is almost always a straight man whom likes to wear womens clothes: Quite different things which is not to be misunderstood despite the seeming relationship.
We need to ask ourselves why the controllers are introducing this new key word, because make no mistake about it, this is a key word. Any time you spot an invented word, and this is invented, it's not accidental.
There's a reason this is being floated. I'm guessing rather wildly right now it has to do with people whom are identifying crisis actors, and others/celebs whom are suspected of playing multiples of other people.
In other words I think it's potentially linked to some idea of being used as a potential excuse for anyone whom gets positively caught in their fake news schemes, which there are many videos on directly related to these people playing both male and females in various inventive situations; new reporters interviewing people about supposed school shootings were quite popular with these gender fluid types is my understanding. Strange how many freaks like to hang out around schools wearing womens clothes, clown outfits, or John McCain Masks.
