I returned from the "front lines" as an officer I was given more responsibilities. I became platoon leader, company leader, patrol leader and I was also responsible for the room the new guys were sleeping. Among
other things we had to train them too.
The Captain warned them for their behavior. I did too. They were out of line, many times and I was very patient with them until one day my patience was exhausted. I sent a new guy on report just to set an example. 3 days of penalty from the Captain. That was the only case I used the authority I was given. Not in any instance I misused my authority.
