The Oklahoma City police say that now they are considering recommending charges against a Yukon police officer as a result of the assault.
The police report, obtained by KOKO states that the innocent woman had reported the attack early on Saturday morning.
The report tells us that witnesses observed 29-year-old Zachary Dean Bradford dragging the woman from her car. He was observed dragging her by her hair and then punching her.
Strangely enough, Bradford then took off his shirt and tucked it in his pants. Right after that he left the scene of the attack.
As for the woman, she told the responding officers that she did not know Bradford before being attacked by him.
She was simply sitting in a vehicle and was talking to one of the witnesses of the attack. That's when Bradford came from a nearby home.
She suffered cuts on her left knee, right ankle and right elbow, after he dragged her from the vehicle.
Oklahoma City officers say that they have arrested Bradford on suspicion of assault and battery.
We contacted the Yukon Police Department which confirmed he was no longer on duty. Shortly after that, they released a statement saying that Bradford has now been suspended without pay.
"We aren't going to comment further as this is still a pending investigation," the statement says. "The officer was suspended on Saturday, and pending the outcome of the OCPD investigation, he could be terminated."
If the average police officer were so much more mentally stable and intellectually brilliant than the average "civilian" (their term for their fellow citizens not in "law enforcement") then they wouldn't have really, really, really wanted to become cops to begin with; at least not in today's society (Mayberry type towns were a long time ago kiddies). Personality disordered people plus firearms don't make for a safe society.
