Next week will mark 50 years to the day that John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. To mark the anniversary, CBS will stream four days of its live coverage from 1963, covering the first reports of the assassination to the president's funeral. Legendary anchor Walter Cronkite is as tied to the assassination as the famous "Zapruder film," but the brief clip showing Cronkite announce the president's death is typically all you see today.
The four days' worth of video will be uncut, so it should offer an intriguing look at just what television news was like back in its golden era. The stream will start at 1:40PM ET on Friday, November 22nd and end on Monday.

I've been checking in with CBS, and besides todays memorial service that was held, there hasn't been any news coverage from 1963. MSNBC has been playing snippets from November 22nd, 1963. The bobble head 'news' anchors are blabbing their usual canned goods and there are plenty of commercials. Thank Caesar for the mute button.
So...all in all, this statement from above is wrong. "The four days' worth of video will be uncut, so it should offer an intriguing look at just what television news was like back in its golden era."
I contacted The Verge and haven't heard back.
Fortunately I own a copy of Evidence Of Revision, but it still would've been a great study if they would've run the footage.
