Do you want to see what Post Traumatic Stress Disorder looks like? Would you like help understanding what it's like to be "THAT CHILD" or "That adult" who is suffering from sexual abuse and no one knows. The following link is my vulnerable life story told through creative expression....I came from loving family, was violated by strangers and conditioned to fear reaching out for help. The truth is not always easy to give or receive, but it does lead to "Peace of mind". Children need creative outlets to be accessible because most often, no one knows they are suffering and in need of help. Children with PTSD are among the least understood & the most medically in need. "Art" saved my life. When no one understood my mental anguish "Art" helped me choose life over teenage suicide. Not every child sexual abuse survivor becomes an advocate for the abused. To stop child abuse, children have to stop becoming victims. This video link may not be suitable for some who have experienced sexual abuse. It is however my life story told through my art and it is meant to make a difference. "Hope" separates life from death and children need adults to be accountable for their actions. [Link]
