I had a very able and intelligent networking instructor tell me once that internet security was a farce. These guys may not be using the internet, but they are using come sort of communication system (satellite-based I would guess). And any communication system that uses radio links can be tinkered with.
What could happen with this technology over the next few years could be so perverse that I don't even want to think about it. What if it fell into the "wrong" hands? What if it already is in the wrong hands?
How long can we sustain the spiritual confusion caused by this type of warfare? And warfare in general, for that matter? If we cannot find some way to elevate ourselves above this way of relating to each other, I don't think this society can last much longer.
