The Japanese government is trying to calm fears about radiation levels and food safety in the region around the heavily damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power facility, even as it has raised the severity rating of the crisis to the highest possible level. "Radiation is continuing to leak out of the reactors, the situation is not stable at all," says Dr. Michio Kaku, professor of theoretical physics at the City University Of New York and the City College of New York, in an interview on Democracy Now! April 13. "The slightest disturbance could set off a full scale melt down at three nuclear power stations - far beyond what we saw at Chernobyl."

Re: Your point to codis 'Interpersonal Contact ' "I wish there was a type of messenger feature on here where people could communicate without everyone having to read it."
I’ve figured out this workaround before. Go find an article that only the person you wish to contact has commented upon. (Or at least no common current commenters other than your contact.) Comment on it.
Easiest way:
1) Google, end all searches with { site:sott.net } (Ignore those '}' parentheses. Duh. )
2) List name of whoever. “Globalgrrl”
3) {“Globalgrrl” site:sott.net } Enter.
4. After search completed, right bottom of search term bar has 'Tools':
1) When / ‘time’ restriction;
2) Verbatim or Normal search.
(You used to be able to use those tools at the same time; now the asses at G allow you to choose only one or the other.)
Find an old comment by that person, hit ‘reply’ button on the article so that it will NOT scroll down the right side. Thus, since only you and I are commenters on here, only our RPB's should light up. (Such will light up the ‘red Pavlovian bell’ only for them (plus any other commenters on that old article.) Save old article as a bookmark. I use with this with several people.
