The main issue about college education is that not everyone needs it. Thousands of students try to get there for no particular reason. They are not going to study, they wand a prestigious degree that will help them land a highly paid job. Some of my students can hardly complete an easy assignment (some even use [Link] to complete a narrative essay, imagine that). Obviously these unmotivated students ruin the value of college education, not to mention that they often take places of students who are actually determined to study hard.
