A Longwood, Florida family's yard looks more like a pond as water surges from a mysterious hole on Monday.

Ed Wolek checked with his utility company, and they keep telling him it's ground water. The 4-foot-wide, 4-foot-deep hole has been gushing water for days.

Wolek said he's afraid to dig around it because he doesn't want a pond to appear in his back yard. He's not sure if he should be worried about his home.

"At this point, I don't know," Wolek said. "We were talking about remodeling, and I wanted a water feature, but not in my back yard."

Wolek shot some video of the clear water gushing from the ground a few days ago. He said it filled up the hole with around 300 gallons, and it's now starting to seep into his neighbor's yard. He rented a pump which can pump out 150 gallons per minute, but that's only a temporary solution.

Wolek is convinced it's a spring. He hopes someone can come out, take a look at it and help him before it gets bigger.
