'We don't know exactly what they are': Obama says UFO sightings appear real

Former President Barack Obama has laughed off rumors that the US government has a secret stash of aliens and their spacecraft — while conceding that there really are UFO sightings that the government can't explain.

"When it comes to aliens, there are some things I just can't tell you on air," the 44th commander-in-chief teased James Corden in a video chat on "The Late Late Show" aired early Tuesday.

"Look, the truth is that when I came into office, I asked," Obama told the British comedian with a laugh.

"I was like, 'All right, is there the lab somewhere where we're keeping the alien specimens and spaceships?'

"They did a little bit of research ... and the answer was, 'No,'" he deadpanned to laughter.

Pentagon says leaked video showing mysterious spherical object is GENUINE & under investigation by 'UFO task force'

An excerpt from leaked footage showing an unidentified object over the Pacific Ocean, captured by Navy personnel.
Freshly leaked footage of a mysterious spherical object darting around over the California coast is authentic, the US military said, noting the video was captured aboard a Navy warship and that the sighting is under investigation.

First published on Friday by filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, the grainy infrared footage shows a round object hovering over the ocean before abruptly plunging into the water. Soon after the video began making the rounds, a Pentagon spokesperson confirmed that it was filmed by American sailors.

"I can confirm that the video was taken by Navy personnel, and that the UAPTF included it in their ongoing examinations," Pentagon spokeswoman Susan Gough told the Debrief in a statement, referring to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, a Naval Intelligence program established to collect reports of mysterious sightings.

Did a Costa Rican mapping project produce the best UFO photo ever taken?

Costa Rican National Geographic Institute, September 4, 1971
Five decades ago, a Costa Rican government mapping team accidentally took a photo that looks absolutely strange, other-worldly, and totally convincing. Is it?

Are there better (authentic) UFO photos out there than the one you're looking at? Undoubtedly. Unfortunately, it seems that those photos have yet to be released, declassified, or otherwise made available to the general public. Until that day occurs, this one is going to have to do. It has many fans and a few detractors, but the story is still compelling.

2021 is the 50th anniversary of this photo being taken. In those five decades, the legend of the Lake Cote photo has only grown.

In 1999, for example, the French government put it on the cover of its COMETA report, a document long thought to be among the most open statements on the UFO subject ever made by any government. The report states that the ETH, Extra Terrestrial Hypothesis, is probably the most likely explanation for what's truly going on with these objects.

Pentagon whistleblower warns of UFO intelligence failure on 'level of 9/11'

Fighter jet radar image of the UFO the Nimitz crew labeled the 'tic-tac' which supposedly moved at speeds never seen before
A former Pentagon investigator who claims to have run a hush-hush UFO program has warned that an upcoming blockbuster report about "unidentified aerial phenomena" could reveal a failure by US intelligence agencies on par with 9/11.

Luis "Lue" Elizondo, former head of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, has told The Post about the document slated for release in June under a mandate contained in former President Donald Trump's $2.3 trillion appropriations bill for this year.

The whistleblower said the highly anticipated report will address what UFO believers have been clamoring to discover about Tic Tac-shaped objects the Navy saw in 2004, the strange "cubes within spheres" seen by naval aviators in 2014 and mysterious black triangles reported around the world.

Woman gashed in the head after turtle crashes through windshield

A Florida woman driving on Interstate 95 was hit by a turtle smashing into her windshield, similar to an incident in 2016.
What the shell?!

A Florida woman was hospitalized after a turtle smashed through the windshield of her car and hit her in the head, according to a report.

The 71-year-old was riding with her daughter on Interstate 95 Wednesday morning when the reptile came crashing in, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reported.

Investigation Launched Into Premature Release Of Turtle Through Windscreen Story

An investigation was launched into the premature release of this year's 'turtle through windscreen' story. The report was, as usual, scheduled to run during May.

Turtle crashes through Georgia driver's windshield along Savannah freeway - May 26, 2020

Turtle crashes through South Carolina driver's windshield on the highway - May 3, 2019

Turtle Crashes Through Woman's Windshield on Florida Interstate - May 13, 2016

Interestingly - collisions with turtles have their own medical injury code (W59.22XA: Struck by Turtle).

There is a long tradition of such stories.:
The more famous but equally unverifiable turtle impact happened in 456 B.C., when the Greek playwright Aeschylus (author of The Persians, Seven Against Thebes, and Euripides Is a Big Fat Idiot) is said to have been killed by a turtle. The story is that the turtle was dropped on him by an eagle, which presumably was hoping to crack the turtle's shell open on a rock but mistakenly hit the playwright's bald head.
Nevertheless the premature release of this year's version is inexcusable and should be punished.

Cattle in rural Oregon again found dead, mutilated amid strange circumstances

Cattle in Oregon are again showing up dead under strange circumstances.

Over the past three months, seven animals have been found mutilated on ranch land in central Oregon's Crook County, the Northwest News Network reported Tuesday. In most cases, the dead animal's sex organs, tongue or eyes are cut away cleanly and there is no blood.

The cases call to mind similar discoveries of five mutilated bulls in 2019 in Harney County, where five bulls were found dead in a 2-mile radius with their sex organs and tongues removed.

There have also been cases in recent years in Wasco, Umatilla, Wheeler and Lake counties in recent years. There have also been cases reported in Arizona.

Mystery over sheep standing in concentric circles

Mysterious photos that show a flock of sheep standing in a bizarre circle pattern have baffled social media users.

And the man who spotted the strange phenomenon says he initially believed it was a spaceship like "something out of the X Files".

A dad out for a cycle was baffled after spotting a flock of sheep gathered in a circle.
Christopher Hogg, of village Rottingdean in East Sussex, was out on his bike when he saw the sheep gathered together.

The 47-year-old said: "I was on my daily cycle when I came over the hill and saw this magnificent circle.

"At that point I was about half a mile away, which made me think that whatever it was, it was huge.

"It was saucer-shaped, like an alien ship.

"And it was beautiful - but also a bit too weird for comfort.

"I cycled a bit closer and then realised the circle was made of sheep."

US Navy releases footage of pyramid-shaped 'UFOs'

UFO San Diego

July 2019 / USS Russell / Warning area off of San Diego / Strike Group 9 / UAS = Unmanned Aerial System
On May 1st, 2020 a classified briefing was generated about the UFO / UAP presence, via the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). Those familiar with the briefing articulated to me that the goal was to de-stigmatize the UAP problem and to promote more intelligence collection regarding UAP incursions and encounters with active military deployments. This UAP briefing was a build-on to a previous ONI briefing, generated October 18th, 2019. Both were distributed across a wide range of intelligence networking platforms (such as SIPRNet, JWICS, and various Intelink systems).

I was able to obtain information regarding these and other UAP related briefings - as well as - two unclassified slides and some of the most intriguing military captured UAP footage I have ever seen.

The context surrounding this content is important to understand - as its evidentiary value is best demonstrated through the lens of provenance. I want you to understand why this new evidence is worth your full attention - if it's not inherently obvious to you.

Drones that swarmed US warships are still unidentified, Navy chief says

US warship
Drones that hovered around U.S. destroyers for hours off the California coast remain unidentified more than a year and a half after the episode, the Navy's top officer says.

Adm. Michael Gilday, chief of naval operations, spoke about the July 2019 flights Monday at a Defense Writers Group event in Washington. Gilday said the incident — and other similar sightings — were still being assessed.

Asked if the Navy had identified the drones that flew near U.S. warships near the Channel Islands off Southern California, Gilday said: "No, we have not."

Comment: It's hard to tell from the lack of description of the aircraft, but it seems like they're just assuming these were drones. A rather strange incident, to be sure.

US military and spy agencies blocking government investigators of UFO sightings

A public accounting is proving to be an "onerous job of trying get everyone to come clean," one government adviser said.

The truth may be out there. But don't expect the feds to share what they know anytime soon on the recent spate of UFO sightings.

Some military and spy agencies are blocking or simply ignoring the effort to catalog what they have on "unidentified aerial phenomenon," according to multiple current and former government officials. And as a result, the Biden administration will likely delay a much-anticipated public report to Congress.

The Senate Intelligence Committee has asked the director of national intelligence to work with the Defense Department to provide a public accounting by June 25 on unexplained sightings of advanced aircraft and drones that have been reported by military personnel or captured by radar, satellites and other surveillance systems.
