Some weird things can happen in the skies. At least if you are the Continental Airlines pilot who reported seeing a rocket fly past his cockpit window while he was about eight miles away from Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport, as reported by the Houston Chronicle.
An unidentified flying object crashed on Phu Quoc island Tuesday.
From the debris, authorities suspect it to be an airplane but in the absence of markings on them or the remains of passengers, no firm conclusions have been made.
Residents in the north of the island said they heard explosions in the sky at around 11 am and then saw a black object plunge to ground, leaving a white trail of smoke behind.
Island authorities confirmed they found six pieces of metal, some with screws on them, with the biggest being about 1.5 meters long.

They were shaped like cigars, saucers, coffins and amorphous blinking blobs. They hovered in a menacing manner, traveled at impossible speeds and vanished into the netherworld, or, in one instance, a hedge in Cornwall.

Witnesses of the Phoenix UFO said they saw four or five red lights lined up in a straight line and spaced apart evenly. The lights slowly moved east and became dimmer when suddenly three jets flew from the west and traveled in the direction of the lights.
Witnesses near Deer Valley, Arizona reported seeing four lights in a square shape that eventually became a triangular shape. The lights were moving to the east and they disappeared one by one.
