A strange creature with wings resembling those of a bat and which has been dubbed "the Gargoyle" has attacked several animals and even a human, according to reports issued by residents of Guánica.
Attacks by the "Gargoyle" resemble those of the mythic Chupacabras to a certain extent, given that it operates under cover of darkness and allegedly exsanguinates [drains the blood of] its victims.
Some people have identified it with the Chupacabras, yet others believe it is a different, elusive and sinister entity whose lair is in Barrio Ensenada, amid the ruins and tunnels of the Guanica Sugar Mill, where the skeletons of its victims can be found.
The Gargoyle's exploits have gone on for many years, mostly in Guánica, but in Lajas and San Germán as well.

Quick Flashing Object Ascends Over Fair Grounds And Pulses Motionless In Sky
Went outside to the back of my work building to have a smoke and was looking north towards the fair grounds. I was looking at one of the amusement park rides and noticed ascending right above it was a silver flashing metallic object that appeared at first glance to be a (chrome) Mylar balloon rising up.
The object then began to rise at a much faster rate and the flashing of silver light became brighter not dimmer with altitude gain. The object rose straight up at least 500 feet from where I first saw it and was not affected by any winds aloft that would usually sway a balloon horizontally.

2 oval shaped craft, moved slowly with no sound, 300-400 feet off the ground, very low, and later saw fighters chase it.
Me and 3 of my friends were climbing a tree in my front yard when I noticed 2 large ovals of white light moving in opposite directions. I yelled to the friend closest to me that there were two bright lights low to the ground. As soon as I pointed out the orbs started to come closer together and one picked up speed and left our view and the other started to move back and forth. I yelled for my friends to come up to the tree so they could see it and we all watched it move back and fourth for 5 minutes before it disappeared behind a house. When this happened, we all got down from my tree and ran towards the corner of my block to get a better view of the craft.

Hovering Glowing object for 2 hours near Huntsville, Texas that moved around the western sky and appeared to shoot objects from it
Tonight at approx 11pm my husband saw what looked initially like Mars in size and color. He called me out after he had watched it fly quickly from one spot in the sky to another then stop, hover and go in circles. He said he saw it shoot something from it. It was due west from our back porch. SO I came out to take a look. It appeared to be over Huntsville, Texas.
In a 2 hour period this thing hovered, went in circles horizontally, pulsed in brightness and in size. It moved VERY quickly back and forth stood perfectly still and shot out something that shined very brightly at least twice, we both saw it happen the 2nd time. Then the ejected object turned invisible, turned off its lights or burned up.

Solid white object broke apart into a triangular form
I noticed a ball of light northwest from my backyard, first with my mother. I knew it was not a planet, star, satellite, etc. The planet Venus popped into my head, but every few minutes, they was a light red object that would circle around the white object. Practically looked like it would come out of the white object, do a little peek show, and then disappear and this carried on for an hour.
As time went on, the white light was slowly but gradually moving north/northeast-ward. I was holding my Camcorder thinking to myself, "I have to get this on film". I recorded everything I saw and had experienced. My father had come outside to see it for himself and he was shocked to what he was indeed looking at, it was nothing that I had seen before.

Blue light swaying and dipping over Bellevue
I noticed a blue light in the sky, just above the horizon, at about 22:25. It was hovering just above the tree line about 5 degrees to the east of the north star. The blueness is what caught my attention. Very soon after noticing it, it began to dip and sway and swirl like nothing I've ever seen.
I got the attention of another patron at the store and asked him if he saw it too. He said he saw it, but didn't seem too impressed. It slowly dropped below the tree line and I didn't see it again.

Formation of initially 4 objects, one emitting another smaller object, then when witnesses gathered only three objects remaining.
On this day, the 21st of August, 2010, I and three other people witnessed a formation of between 3 and five bright objects in the sky over Basel, Switzerland.
I made the initial sighting while walking my neighbour's dog in the park behind my house, seeing 4 intensely bright white objects high in the sky to the south of my location. Initially I dismissed the objects as airplanes as Switzerland lying at the crossroads of Europe sees lots of air traffic.

Strange craft captured on film during lightning storm on August 15th in Ontario, Canada.
The nurse who claims to have seen a glowing UFO on a hillside has broken her silence over Ministry of Defence suggestions that it was nothing more than a combination of an earthquake and a meteor.
Pat Evans, whose description of the glowing ball she saw on North Wales's Berwyn Mountains has prompted more than three decades of debate among Ufologists and scientists, described the MoD claims as "rubbish".
And retired nurse and midwife Mrs Evans, who rarely speaks of the event, repeated her claim that she saw a UFO on January 23, 1974, in the incident known as the "Welsh Roswell".
He described the light as glowing and pulsating and said it positioned itself about five feet above the mule's head and then became motionless except for the pulsating light.
After Hurricane Katrina the landscape here in our little rural parish north of New Orleans had changed drastically, and the traditions seemed to be changing quickly, too, with the influx of new people from the flooded metro area. Washington Parish had depended economically on timber and dairy farms, both of which had suffered with the growth of megacorporations, the dairy farms almost disappearing. Katrina destroyed a large portion of the dairies that remained, and in only a few hours the storm obliterated over 70 years worth of timber harvest.
In the aftermath of the hurricane, local residents and citizens volunteered for a large variety of recovery and restoration efforts. It was their work and the work of volunteers from all over the country that got us back on our feet. I, being a decrepit old woman, wasn't able to do much physically, so I focused my efforts on sedentary activities that might help to raise funds for our parish library system, the central library of which was closed for many months after Katrina because of damage from the hurricane.
One of our fund raising projects was the publication of a book of local tales and lore. In both newspapers in the parish, we advertised that we were looking for stories about Washington Parish lore, traditions, events, people, and just plain interesting facts. The book, Washington Parish Tales, was published about three years after Katrina, and it was pretty successful in promoting our library system and raising funds for it. It included writings by about 50 local authors, adults and children, plus many photos and prints of beautiful drawings and paintings done by some of our local artists.
