Sputnik vaccine
The Russian-made Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine has shown the best result in preventing Covid-19 mortality, compared to the other leading formulas, according to a comprehensive study based on Hungary's mass-vaccination drive.

The comparative analysis of the performance of different jabs used in the central European country was unveiled, on Thursday, by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), the sovereign wealth fund that bankrolled the jab's development. CEO of the RDIF, Kirill Dmitriev, said in a statement on Thursday:
"With 98% efficacy in preventing COVID-related mortality and 85.7% efficacy against coronavirus infection Sputnik V has demonstrated the best results among five vaccines (Sputnik V, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm and AstraZeneca) administered in EU member state Hungary as part of an independent study based on data from 3.7 million people."

Comment: The latest in hype wars! The 'best of the best' vaccine cannot match natural immunity.

Temple of Luxor during official ceremony for the reopening of ancient road
A restored road connecting two ancient Egyptian temple complexes in Karnak and Luxor has been unveiled in a lavish ceremony aimed at raising the profile of one of Egypt's top tourist spots.

The procession on Thursday to reopen the 1.7-mile (2.7km) road included a reenactment of the ancient Opet festival, in which statues of Theban deities were paraded annually during the New Kingdom era in celebration of fertility and the flooding of the Nile.

The Egyptian president, Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, marched along the road at the start of the ceremony. Pharaonic chariots and more than 400 young performers dressed in pharaonic costumes paraded along the avenue.

The 3,400-year-old road linking the ancient centres of Karnak and Luxor, also known as Road of the Rams or Avenue of the Sphinxes, is lined with hundreds of ram- and human-headed sphinxes, though over the years many have been eroded or destroyed. The road has undergone several restoration efforts since being discovered in 1949, and the latest began in 2017.

BBC: Woman left paralyzed after AstraZeneca Covid vaccine, UK govt delays compensation claim whilst investigating 'possible link'

AstraZeneca victim

Kerry Hurt developed a blot clot on her brain after having her first dose of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine
A woman has described how she had to learn how to talk again after she said she was left partially-paralysed due to the side effects of her Covid-19 vaccine.

Kerry Hurt, from Rotherham, suffered a stroke after undergoing surgery for a blood clot two weeks after having the AstraZeneca jab.

Mrs Hurt said it had "devastated" her life but still encouraged people to have the vaccine if they wanted it.

A government spokesperson said severe side effects were "extremely rare" and affected 1 in 100,000 people, external having first doses.

Santa Claus is gay in Norway's latest postal service advert, obviously

A scene from Posten's Christmas advert 'When Harry Met Santa'.
A TV ad for the Norwegian postal service that shows Father Christmas enjoying a festive kiss with a man has gone viral. Santa's coming out makes perfect sense, given his uncanny ability to take on a wide range of identities.

Santa is gay. But you knew that already, right? How could he not be in this, the modern era, the age of woke?

I admit, I'd always presumed there was a Mrs Claus back home somewhere in the Arctic Circle, helping Santa all year long pack presents alongside his elves and reindeer. But apparently not.

It seems Santa was in the closet all along. Maybe that explains why the cuddly couple had no conventionally conceived kids of their own to help out?

Comment: In just the last few months a number of Woke adverts have hit Western TV screens: in the US, a boy wearing a girl's dress being looked after by a wrathful witch baby-sitter was used to promote Twix chocolate bar; Santa being forced to show his vaccine passport to deliver children's presents was the Christmas ad for UK supermarket giant Tesco; and, yet again, a boy wearing his mother's clothes, but this time trashing his home, was used to promote John Lewis home insurance in the UK - this one was later pulled, apparently because the advertising watchdog objected to the implication that the home insurance would cover damage caused by a child who deliberately wrecked their own home:

Top ICU doctor suspended after suing hospital for banning life-saving COVID treatments

icu doctor Dr. Paul Marik
A top critical care physician who filed a lawsuit against Sentara Norfolk General Hospital over its ban on administering life-saving drugs to treat COVID patients, has had his hospital privileges suspended.

Dr. Paul Marik, chief of pulmonary and critical care medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School and director of the ICU at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, learned about the 14-day suspension when he arrived to work on Saturday and found a letter on his desk.

The letter was dated Nov. 18 — the same day Marik appeared before a judge in Norfolk Circuit Court requesting a temporary injunction to lift the ban, Marik's attorney said.

Comment: What a hero! Thank goodness there are doctors like him around. He is potentially risking a 35-year career and his livelihood to honor the Hippocratic oath of 'first, do no harm'.

Cull, track and control

covid totalitarianism
The most salient feature of totalitarianism is control of movement, which entails tracking each citizen. Before the internet era, this could only be achieved roughly.

The state knew John Smith lived on Lumumba Street and worked on Stalin Avenue. If Smith wanted to spend a night at a woman's apartment, she had to register him at the neighborhood police station. Big Brother entered the bedroom, but not totally, for he couldn't hear all the sibilants, exhalations and squishes. Daytime movement was generally unmonitored, but the state always knew where you were at night.

Smith's ID card also prevented him from moving to the next city, much less getting a better job there, so he was stuck in Bidenstadt, his hometown.

Smith was free, though, to walk into any state store to browse, for as long as he wanted, its empty shelves.

Now, the state knows where Smith is all the time. At 5:51:15PM, this scowling man is again at Blather Bar, next to Red Levine, who, despite his name, also has alternative right tendencies. Vein-popping fans of Steve Sailer, each has left hundreds of fist-pumping comments, under "sigofnig" and "xxxxrabbi."

For the state, the whole point of tracking is to reward or punish, mostly the latter. In the past, you'd be invited to the police station, or just dragged off the street. Now, punishment can be much tidier, and instant, even for the tiniest sin. That's where the vaccine, green, access or health passport comes in.

Comment: You can follow the herd, you can fight the pied pipers, or you can renounce the whole thing and seek community with others who renounce it and ride this thing out. It won't last much longer...

First EU country backs Covid jabs for 5 year olds

The Danish National Board of Health has recommended that children aged between five and 11 should be able to get vaccinated against Covid-19, becoming the first EU nation to make the move.

On Friday, Helene Probst, Deputy Director of the National Board of Health, told the press that the decision came at a time of concern for the Nordic nation, as Covid cases continue to rise.
"We have seen a worrying infection in the hospitals, and that the number of hospitalizations has risen to over 400," she stated.

I am really happy that we now have an approval for children aged between five and 11 years old. We need that. We are still in the midst of an epidemic and a historic health crisis.

Comment: We have already seen that the European Medicines Agency is manipulating with the real data about the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccines and they are probably doing the same again.

Ahmaud Arbery verdict: Three white men found guilty of murdering Black man as he jogged

The three white men who chased and killed Ahmaud Arbery have been found guilty of murder following his 2020 shooting death in south Georgia, which led to a wave of racial justice protest and a resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement in the US.

Travis McMichael, his father Greg McMichael, and their neighbour William "Roddie" Bryan were each convicted for murdering Arbery, who was unarmed, after pursuing him in February last year and claiming, without evidence, he had been involved in a spate of burglaries in their neighborhood.

On Wednesday the jury returned unanimous verdicts, convicting Travis McMichael, who opened fire on Arbery three times with a pump action shotgun, on all nine counts, including charges of malice and felony murder.

Greg McMichael, who carried a magnum revolver but did not open fire, was convicted on eight of the nine counts including felony murder. Bryan, who pursued Arbery in a separate vehicle and said he was not carrying a firearm, was convicted on six of nine counts, also including the charge of felony murder.

The three men each stood before the judge, Timothy Walmsley, who read the verdicts to the courtroom before remanding the defendants into custody. They face life in prison and will be sentenced at a later date with the court deciding whether any are eligible for parole.

The Waukesha massacre is not a 'crash' and there's nothing 'accidental' about it

Darrell Brooks

Darrell Brooks appears in Waukesha County Court • November 23, 2021
The idea that the murderous rampage that left six dead when career criminal Darrell Brooks plowed through a holiday crowd in his SUV was 'accidental' shows just how twisted and self-serving the world of woke has become.

Across the mainstream media, the incident in Waukesha, Wisconsin that left dozens more injured after sex offender Brooks drove through the parade is referred to as a 'crash'.

It wasn't a crash. It was a massacre. And if you take into account the content of Brooks' social media account, his admiration of Hitler and his loathing of white folk, Jews and even fellow black people, you'd be on safe ground calling it a domestic terror attack.

So why the cop-out? Why is the MSM insisting on portraying a calculated and cold-blooded attack on an unsuspecting parade of regular people out enjoying themselves as some sort of 'accident'?

Don't use the word 'looting', experts in US media warn

Looter
© Robyn Beck
Looting in progress
The latest string of smash-and-grab attacks on high-end stores in California should not be called looting as that would be racist, two criminal justice experts told the media and police.

The lecture on linguistics came after the San Francisco Bay area police departments had described a series of brazen thefts at luxury retail outlets over the weekend as looting. Lorenzo Boyd, a professor of criminal justice and community policing at the University of New Haven, told ABC7 news channel on Tuesday that the term has strong racial connotations and is typically used when "people of color or urban dwellers are doing something." Boyd, a former deputy sheriff in Boston, went on to claim that when people of different ethnicity "do the exact same thing," such criminal acts are rarely called looting.

Martin Reynolds, co-executive director of the Robert C. Maynard Institute of Journalism Education, concurred, saying that it "seems like it's an organized smash-and-grab robbery. This doesn't seem like looting."

Both experts concluded that the media ought to be careful in their choice of words. Reynolds opined:
"people draw their own conclusions, if the terminologies that you use are tethered to people's understanding of how they have been used in the past."
The two experts surmised that some outlets had chosen the word 'looting' intentionally, in a bid to link the crime spree to the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.

Comment: 'Looting' is a word for 'plunder' in a wartime scenario. It is not 'color' specific. A more accurate word in the above context is 'shoplifting'.
