Polish president admits real purpose of US missile base was not about defending against Iran, but expanding NATO towards Russia

The missile defense facility at Redzikowo isn't about intercepting ballistic missiles from Iran, but about moving Poland into the US zone of influence and away from Russia, Polish President Andrzej Duda has revealed.

The Aegis Ashore facility on the Baltic Sea coast was proposed in the early 2000s, after the US repudiated the anti-ballistic missile (ABM) treaty. Washington assured Moscow at the time that the future bases in Romania and Poland were not aimed against Russia but against "rogue states" such as Iran or North Korea.

Speaking at the opening ceremony for the Redzikowo base on Wednesday, Duda quoted the words of the Polish president at the time, Lech Kaczynski, revealing the real purpose of the missile base.

"Andrzej, these missiles will not defend Poland," Duda said. "They will actually protect areas far, far away from Poland from missiles that could potentially be launched from Iran, for example. But this will be an American missile base, which will contain some of the greatest secrets of the United States and which the United States will guard."

Musk has powerful influence on Trump - media

Billionaire Elon Musk, who has been given a top position in the incoming Trump administration, has an outsized influence on the president-elect, multiple news outlets have reported.

After endorsing Donald Trump following the assassination attempt against the then-presidential candidate in Butler, Pennsylvania in July, Musk became a leading figure in the campaign. Since Trump's election victory last week, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO has had an input on who the incoming administration is tapping for jobs, insider sources have told media outlets including ABC News, CNN and Axios.

Musk has reportedly visited Trump's residence in Florida almost every day since the election. He was present during at least two conversations that the politician had with foreign leaders, including Vladimir Zelensky of Ukraine and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, sources said. Trump allegedly handed the phone over to his key supporter during the call with Kiev.

Saudi crown prince says Israel committing 'genocide' in Gaza

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has condemned Israel's actions in Gaza as "genocide" in some of the harshest public criticism of the country by a Saudi official since the start of the war.

Speaking at a summit of Muslim and Arab leaders the prince also criticised Israeli attacks on Lebanon and Iran. Israel has vehemently denied that its forces are committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

In a sign of improving ties between rivals Riyadh and Tehran, Prince Mohammed also warned Israel against launching attacks on Iranian soil.

Saudi's de facto leader was joined by other leaders present in calling for a total Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and Gaza.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's foreign minister said it was a "failing of the international community" that the war in Gaza had not been stopped, accusing Israel of causing starvation in the territory.

SOTT Focus: Dutch Health Minister Defends Government's Covid Measures: "We Were Bound by NATO Obligations"

Comment: Finally, after almost 5 years, someone in public office appears to have let the cat out of the bag: defending her role in passing Covid laws and rules, the Dutch health minister tipped her hat to NATO and a 'deep state' counter-terrorism outfit that was first set up in the Netherlands 'to defeat Islamist terrorism'.

Given that NATO is a supranational organization, this would strongly suggest that ALL NATO member-states 'ran Covid' in more or less the same way, and would go a long way towards explaining why Western governments all seemed to operate 'in lockstep' throughout the pandemic: they were working to a centrally-controlled military beat, and one which apparently operated under the auspices of NATO, via military-intelligence 'counter-terrorism units' established after 9/11...

© XDutch Minister of Health, Fleur Agema, recently said during a debate that the COVID-19 policy over the past few years was determined by NATO and the National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism.
Almost five years after the start of Corona, I understand much better what happened. Last week, the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport explained that the Corona policy was commissioned by the [Dutch] National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security (NCTV) and NATO.

So it was a military operation that had nothing to do with healthcare. It's this video of just three minutes that makes so much clear to me. I invite you to listen carefully to what the Dutch Minister of Health, Fleur Agema, says here. Politician Ms. Paulusma also says something briefly, but she's still following the line of 'infectious disease control', which is what I also did for a long time.

Below you'll find a transcript of the video:

Trump 'Warrior Board' means to purge 'woke generals' from US military leadership

Trump's "Warrior Board" will go after this nonsense in the military
After years of feminizing the US military through DEI initiatives, a new executive order under consideration by the Trump transition team would establish a "warrior board" of retired senior military personnel which would be granted the power to review three- and four-star officers and recommend any removals of those deemed unfit for leadership.

A draft review of the Executive Order seen by the Wall Street Journal could fast-track generals and admirals found to be "lacking in requisite leadership qualities," given President-elect Donald Trump's past vow to fire "woke generals" who have promoted diversity among the ranks at the expense of military readiness.

Trump actually won three elections

What 2024 says about 2020

It is kind of odd to be announcing 2020 election outcomes based on what happened four years later in 2024, but the additional data points we are now getting make it clear that 2020 was scam of the century, well at least a second place scam after COVID. The note from 9th Nov shows some simple graphs, where anomalies stick out like sore thumbs. The crucial data we got in 2024 is that the phantasmagorical increase in 2020 Democrat votes actually largely (55%) evaporated into 2024. At that point we went from 2020 numbers that had a vanishingly small chance of being true (2% approximately) to being fraudulent. Some gung-ho readers might dismiss this as obvz, but there is a lot of value to be gained from really nailing down the size of the probable fraud and what would have happened without the ballot stuffing.

In the earlier paper I showed the smoking gun was the increase of 21.8 million total ballots in 2020, which was around 4x the average increase since 19601. Part of that increase then reversed in 2024 (3.5 million fewer ballots) which really exposed the 2020 ballot stuffing.

Thawing Russia-US Relations?

trump putin
President of Russia
A former and future U.S. president talked with Vladimir Putin on Thursday! At least that is what The Washington Post reported today.

In a highly detailed account, the Post wrote:
"During the call, which Trump took from his resort in Florida, he advised the Russian president not to escalate the war in Ukraine and reminded him of Washington's sizable military presence in Europe, said a person familiar with the call, who, like others interviewed for this story, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter.

The two men discussed the goal of peace on the European continent and Trump expressed an interest in follow-up conversations to discuss 'the resolution of Ukraine's war soon,' one of the people said."
Except on Monday, Dmitry Peskov, Putin's spokesman, denied it ever happened.

As a follow-up, the Post was forced to report:
"Peskov called the story 'completely untrue' ... 'This is the most obvious example of the quality of the information that is now published, sometimes even in fairly respected publications. This is completely untrue. This is pure fiction, this is simply false information,' he told the Russian news agency Interfax."

Israeli-Iranian actions mask the reorganization of alliances in the Middle East

Neti
© ScreenshotSpeaking on television on 18 October, Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister, declared: “The Axis of Terror that was built by Iran is collapsing before our eyes. Nasrallah is dead. His deputy Mohsen is dead. Haniyeh is dead. Deif is dead. Sinwar is dead.” The reign of terror that the Iranian regime has imposed on its own people and on the people of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen will also end. All those who seek a future of prosperity and peace in the Middle East should unite to build a better future. Together, we can push back the forces of darkness and create a future of light and hope for all of us.”
The thunderous declarations of definitive and painful strikes by Iran on Israel and vice versa have proven illusory. We have not witnessed the predicted cataclysm, but a repositioning of the main actors. The men and women who, devoted to the independence of their country, sacrificed everything in Gaza, Lebanon and Yemen must reorganize without the support of their former sponsors.

For a year now, we have witnessed proud declarations and threats from the Israeli and Iranian authorities. Each, like a rooster standing on its spurs, assures us that we will see what we will see, that its response will be final and painful. Yet the two Iranian attacks (Operation Honest Promise on April 13 and October 1) and the two Israeli attacks (April 19 and October 26) have not kept their promises. Neither Tehran nor Tel Aviv sought to destroy strategic objectives in their adversary.

A month ago, I published an article [1] highlighting the deep and numerous links between a part of the Iranian ruling class and the "revisionist Zionists" [2]. I insisted on the fact that these groups are very much a minority in their own country, although the former have acceded to the presidency of the Islamic Republic several times and the latter are now in power at the head of the Hebrew state. Even if it is difficult to admit, neither of these two nations is a democracy and their leaders can hold speeches very far removed from reality without being overthrown by their people (although the Iranians overthrew the Shah 45 years ago).

Wall Street rallies on Trump election victory

All three major indices hit record highs, with the Dow soaring more than 1,430 points on Wednesday.

The US stock market and other financial assets surged on Wednesday after media outlets started declaring victory for Donald Trump in the presidential election.

Kamala Harris has called Donald Trump to "congratulate him on winning the 2024 presidential election," a senior aide to the vice president has told NBC News, marking what amounts to a formal concession of the race.

On Wednesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped more than 1,430 points, or 3.4%, in a single day record surge for the blue-chip index since November 2022. The broader S&P 500 and tech-heavy Nasdaq also hit record highs, both rising up by over 2%.

The Russell 2000, which tracks smaller companies most exposed to the US economy, surged 4.7% on expectations of Trump's tax cuts and protectionist policies. The 10-year Treasury yield bounced to 4.43% while the dollar index jumped 1.7% to 105.13.

Comment: Wall Street wasn't the only recent positive financial event:
The Russian stock market rallied on Wednesday morning amid reports of Donald Trump's likely victory in the US presidential election.

Shares in all major Russian companies have been on the rise since preliminary results of the US election started to appear. Stock in state energy giant Gazprom grew by 5% in morning trading, while Lukoil shares jumped by 2.8%. Shares in oil major Rosneft were up by 3%, while Tatneft saw a 4.6% increase. Shares in mining giant Norilsk Nickel rose by 3.6%, while aluminum major Rusal saw its stock jump by 3.4%. The country's largest lender, Sber, saw a gain of 3.6%. Diamond major Alrosa stock surged by 5.3%, while Russia's national airline, Aeroflot, saw its stock spike by 5.9%.

The country's top tech player Yandex, often referred to as 'Russia's Google', saw its stock rise by 2.8%. Major retailers MVideo and Ozon also saw shares surge by over 6%.

The ruble-denominated Moscow Exchange (MOEX) index was up 3.4% as of 09:00 GMT, while the dollar-denominated RTS index rose by 3.3%.

Analysts briefed by RBK said the markets had rallied amid investors' hopes that a victory for Trump would be a positive development for Russia, as he has repeatedly pledged to end to the Ukraine conflict and de-escalate geopolitical tensions.

Mikhail Zeltser, an expert at BCS World of Investments, predicted:
"For domestic market participants, the possible change of power in the US is associated with timid hopes for a change in rhetoric and approaches."
Aleksey Antonov, head of Investment Consulting at Alor Broker, noted:
"It is believed that Donald Trump's victory in [the presidential election] is the lesser evil for Russia, and in such a scenario, our stock market could grow significantly."
Some analysts said they expect Trump's likely victory to boost growth in stock prices of companies whose business suffered the most as a result of Ukraine-related Western sanctions on Russia, such as Gazprom, Aeroflot, and some exporters.

Other experts warned that Trump's apparent victory may pose new risks for Russia amid its policy of abandoning the US dollar in trade, which the Republican has criticized. Some also fear Trump's protectionist position may lead the US towards new trade wars, including against one of Russia's major international partners, China.
Not left out of the rally: Tesla stock also soars in post-election rally:
Tesla stock has extended its post-election rally, shooting up almost 8% on Monday after surging nearly 30% last week following Republican Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election.

Tesla's post-election surge also saw it topping $1 trillion in market value for the first time in two years. The latest gains make Tesla worth more than the next 15 biggest carmakers combined, according to Forbes. Musk's personal wealth has also rocketed past $300 billion since Trump's win.

Musk has long been warning that the US is spiraling towards bankruptcy, urging "a radical reduction of government expenditures" and asserting that spending has been stoking inflation.

According to the Financial Times, any role in advising Trump will be structured to allow him to keep control of his companies Tesla, X, SpaceX, xAI and Neuralink. He aims to "exert power by installing longtime deputies, engineering experts, financial backers and ideological partners at government agencies," the Times wrote.
Musk gains billions...
Tesla, which dominates sales of EVs in the US with a market share of 48.9%, is expected to make sharp gains under a Trump administration, given the Republican's plans for extensive tariffs on imports of Chinese cars.

Wedbush analyst Dan Ives, in a note to investors, said:
"Tesla has the scale and scope that is unmatched. This dynamic could give Musk and Tesla a clear competitive advantage in a non-EV subsidy environment, coupled by likely higher China tariffs that would continue to push away cheaper Chinese EV players."
Amazon owner Jeff Bezos saw his net worth surge $7 billion to $223.5 billion, maintaining his position as the world's second-wealthiest person behind Musk.

Crypto magnates also made out well. The net worth of Brian Armstrong, co-founder and CEO of crypto exchange Coinbase, soared by $2.6 to $11 billion, according to Bloomberg, while Binance crypto exchange founder Changpeng Zhao added $12.1 billion following the election, boosting his fortune to $52.7 billion.

US accuses Iran of plotting to kill Trump

An Iranian national and two Americans have been charged with involvement in a murder-for-hire plot to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump, as well as an Iranian dissident, the US Department of Justice has announced.

Farhad Shakeri, Carlisle 'Pop' Rivera and Jonathon Loadholt were named in the criminal complaint unveiled on Friday by the Southern District of New York. Rivera was arrested in Brooklyn and Loadholt in Staten Island. Shakeri is "believed to reside" in Iran and remains at large.

FBI Director Christopher Wray said in a statement:
"The charges announced today expose Iran's continued brazen attempts to target US citizens, including President-elect Donald Trump, other government leaders and dissidents who criticize the regime in Tehran."
Shakeri, 51, immigrated to the US as a child but was deported in 2008 after serving 14 years in prison on a robbery conviction. The DOJ alleges he is an asset of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), who used "a network of criminal associates he met in prison" to spy on targets and plot their deaths.

Rivera, 49 and Loadholt, 36, were allegedly promised $100,000 by Shakeri to stalk and kill an unidentified Iranian dissident (Victim-1).

Comment: Plan: Hold up the indictment until 'selected' facts match 'preferred' results in the name of justice. Unfortunately...
The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmaeil Baghaei, categorically rejected the accusations, calling them 'completely baseless'.
"They hired a street criminal from Afghanistan to plan and carry out the attack. They also hired two random Americans. The US government always portrays their enemies as both evil and retarded, which gives them the ability to claim anything at all. The FBI somehow interviewed this guy, even though he's not even in America.
"Such claims at this juncture [are] a malicious conspiracy orchestrated by Zionist and anti-Iranian circles, aimed at further complicating the issues between the US and Iran."
Baghaei also recalled that Iran had denied similar "false" allegations in the past. He was apparently referring to an indictment by the US Department of Justice from August in which a Pakistani national was accused of being sent to the US by Iran to carry out murders. One of the planned attacks was allegedly aimed at Trump.
