"The purpose of GLADIO was to attack civilians, the people - women, children, innocent people, unknown people, far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple: to force the public to turn to the State and demand greater security. Under a strategy of tension, you 'destabilize in order to stabilize', to create tension within society and promote conservative, reactionary social and political tendencies."
~ Italian neo-fascist whose prosecution led to the discovery of NATO's 'Gladio' networks across Western Europe

I'm pretty sure there really isn't any such thing as "smart" people, though. I certainly don't have any good solutions.
This is the freakiest, most perverse (de)generation I could have ever imagined, and I expect it to get worse. How could it not? What absurdity could possibly occur to change our clearly drawn path to perdition?
Not that it doesn't matter now, but the cohort who resisted 2020 through 2021 line up with the one third, or less, number. Which supports the
",,, major part of the population that is beyond just gullible and deep into dangerously stupid margin."
comment.
Perhaps no where near enough to make a difference.
I know people who feel they are well informed on both sides of a story because they watch both FOX and MSNBC/CNN. I try not to engage them in conversation.
I'd settle for Ron Burgundy. At least we know where that's coming from
Looking around at the world it seems to me that the TV watching zombie apocalypse continues to build momentum.
My favorite question to these zombies is; 'Why is Russia bad?' I get a lot of blank stares and some stuttering about how they arbitrarily attacked Ukraine. The name Victoria Nuland means nothing to TV zombies.
It took me years of research (connecting dots) to figure this stuff out and this bloke put it all together in one book.
I know judges will lie MOST of the time in court cases (they love sophistry). I would like to see what AI could do in weighing up evidence, evaluating witnesses, interpreting legal documents and citing credible court cases. - It couldn't be any worse than the present situation.
As far as AI acting like judges, there is no way you would give the case to AI and ask for a judgement. I thought about it and decided I would ask it for two judgements. One giving the judgement to the plaintiff and the other for the defendant. Then, after getting the two judgements, I would ask for a third using both the previous judgements as the basis for a new decision. I'd ask probing questions about logical consistency, weighing of the evidence, fabrication of citations, etc.
By asking for two competing judgements I would hope to expose the flaws in each case and then the third judgement could illustrate the various flaws and come up with a proper judgement.
Maybe it would work...
If it goes down as such remember this when the AI casts judgement - Then die with dignity I reckon - what other way is there to die?
But myself P - I got ambitions - I intend on sticking around for awhile!
Why not -
as for "news" - I got my sources - you got yours - and together we mostly share info here at sott.net.
Ken
What is "News"? What is "Main Stream Media"? What is "Journalism"? What is "Propaganda"?
You know Nada - so do I - so do many others.
Time for some Justified Retribution upon all this hypocrisy and ignominy.....
It ain't gonna be perty....
Stay safe - and hope you have good neighbors.
Ken
That was good one. Made me laugh because I came across that story yesterday and thought it was ironic that "Journalism" won, when the world is in the state it is today.
I wish the best for you and yours.
As for my neighbors? They are far and few in-between. I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.
I'll try my best to keep the devil in it's hole.
I'll do likewise with respect to keeping this and that.....
Ken
Sons of bitches - I came so close!

ha, ha - that race was some of the most fun my wife and I have had together in awhile - we enjoy watching - but twas a shame the horse won the Kentucky Derby was "held out" for some "safety" reasons or some such - I can't remember the name - it began with an "S" - and frankly when there is no chance of a triple crown winner after the first race - that does not bode well for the horse-racing industry.
~
Regardless - in the Belmont stakes my bet is on Horse #9!
