Keep in mind that Yemen has not launched any new strikes on shipping in the Red Sea-- only said they would target Israeli vessels, if Israel continued to renege on its ceasefire deal - the one the US was supposed to guarantee.
As I said in when the ceasefire was being formulated, the Israelis had no intention of honoring a real ceasefire beyond the release of hostages in the Phase 1 — and that they would not let the deal go to Phase 2.
And that is what happened.

It means that the ceasefire agreement died a lot of innocent Yemenis.
More than that it proves yet again that US is agreement incapable — that it sees "peace" as the result of a win-lose game in which only it wins, without need for compromise.
The Houthis responded with missile strikes against the USS Truman aircraft carrier. At some point they will do some real damage. Eventually a missile gets through. It is only a matter of time before American sailors come home in body bags.

In that other operational theatre, Trump begged Putin to spare the lives of the Ukrainian soldiers trapped in Kursk -- and of course, of the 30 to 50 NATO personnel trapped with them. Putin said he would - if they surrendered. But he also said the if they had broken Russia law they would be tried as terrorists, adding that mercenaries - which might technically include the NATO operators, are not protected under the Geneva Convention.

Trump is talking as though he will have a ceasefire any day now and mutual territorial concessions on the part of both Russia and Ukraine-- while continuing lethal support for Ukraine- and imposing more sanctions on Russia.

Trump's plan seems to be to extricate the US from Ukraine so America can focus on China and Iran, while handing the job of confronting Russia and continuing the war to his European zombies,. Then when he has finished with Asia he can come back and scavenge among the debris. And eat brains?

I expected him to get rid of the rat Zelensky. That is all, and since he hasn't done that, I don't expect a lot. I expect the Fourth Reich and a war with Iran, frankly, and always did. I thought it would be nice for a while, and then plummet into hell shortly after. I still sort of expect that. It may have been asking too much. IDK.
I feel like that was the most I could hope for, and I so I voted for him. Sorry, not sorry. This was going to happen anyway, IMO.
I've heard a lot of different positive opinions about Trump, but the only people peddling this "Peace-Maker" Trump, is the media. This is one of their talking points, not ours, that's what I think.
