After viewing hundreds of Musk's posts from the past day, replete with videos and images chronicling his every move, Democrats condemned Musk for shrouding his work in secrecy.
"We have no idea what Elon is really up to," said Senator Chuck Schumer, while listeners scrolling their phones read up-to-the-second updates from Musk about each bite of his breakfast. "It's just a total mystery."
Republicans argued in vain that Musk has run the most transparent government agency in history, describing his work in minute detail and publicly posting dozens of images showing the exact contracts that DOGE is canceling. "But other than posting government documents with precise contract amounts, payment histories, and signatures, where is the evidence of government waste?" asked Senator Elizabeth Warren. "Musk simply cannot be allowed to operate in the shadows like this."
At publishing time, Musk had posted 73 more updates in the past minute showing what contracts DOGE was canceling as well as describing in vivid detail each bite of his sandwich.

In the real left Must is decried as a capitalist billionaire. The answer to which is: Things have come to such a pass that billionaires now take up the torch to protect regular folks from predation by parasite bureaucrats. The working class is cheering Musk on.

It doesn't matter who or what Musk is or says. It only matters that objectively he is doing this right now. All other matters and other times don't enter into it.
I don't think anyone would be against routing out fraud, waste nor an ingrained predatory bureaucracy. If he is doing that great! And no doubt the bloated, sludge, monstrosity that the US government has become, needs a lot of downsizing. Getting that agenda done through the Congress, no doubt, is a Sisyphus-ish ordeal.
If Musk is actually exposing fraud and saving billions, yay! But - as with a magician - be sure to watch the other hand as well. Due to Musk's quick rise financially, his connection with the Pay Pal Mafia, Peter Theil and his affinities with Technocracy, I'd be wary of what babies are being thown out with the bathwater; particularly, if thoses babies being thrown out might be a potential obstacle to Musk's schemes towards installing himself as one of the dictators/experts in the newly created Digital Technocratic Feudalism.
Politically, it hardly matters what this or other faction say or claim is their motivation and purposes. Some of which might be true and much else duplicitous. What matters is the material, substantive results of their doing whatever in pursuit of their 'goals', programme. It is my observation that the faster and deeper the New Regime acts to clean out the "Augean Stables" of the bureacratic apararatchiks the greater the likelihood of serious effects. Alongwith cutting off the money flow, Gravy Train.
If the current pace is kept up in a matter of a few months the Tipping Point will be reached. It will not be possible to put the old Humptey Dumpey back together. The old cliques, factions, partisans, their culture, organization and function cannot be sustained. Its remants will dissipate. Already, there are hordes of bureaucratic defectors. Who are very happy to get with the New Regime and ready to show where the bodies are buried. This will never end and will make for mucho embarassments for the opposition.
The overall momentum becomes a force on its own - Big Mo - and in politics the this is usually an irrestitable force one is advised to keep clear of.
I hardly care what Musk or Trump have to say except to issue such a stream of orders that the resistance is unable to hold power. If Musk was Satan and Trump was 'really Hitler' it matters not. The facts on the ground and their direction seen objectively constitutes a force of lasting change. They don't see that the real effects of their actions are something quite else.
If Musk and Trump could please hurry up with a sufficient amount of damage then I can blessedly return to practice of thumping them for all their many faults.
