The woman who was attacked and killed by her own dog in Boston Monday night has been identified as Jeriline Brady-McGinnis. She was 73 years old.
Brady-McGinnis' landlord and close friend Jean McGuire first identified her as the victim on Tuesday shortly before police confirmed it.
McGuire, 93, is a civil rights pioneer and the first Black woman elected to the Boston School Committee. McGuire said Brady-McGinnis was like a "sister" to her and that they had known each other for years.
Boston dog attack
Brady-McGinnis was mauled by her pit bull Buddha outside their home on Dennison Street in Roxbury around 4:30 p.m., according to McGuire.
"She got attacked some way and they ripped her arm," McGuire told reporters.
Investigators said the dog also attacked Brady-McGinnis's husband as he tried to save her and two Boston police officers. All four were rushed to the hospital. Brady-McGinnis died in surgery, according to McGuire.
Police said the officers and Brady-McGinnis's husband had "non-life threatening injuries." They later confirmed the dog was shot but that his status Tuesday was "unknown."
"Heart and soul of our family is gone"
Brady-McGinnis's three children Chris, Ronald and Donald, released a statement following her death.
"Our mother was a loving and caring mother. She put her children first ... The heart and soul of our family is gone," they said.
According to her sons, Brady-McGinnis had a "heart of gold." They said she loved her animals and cooked them dinner every night.
Jeriline Brady-McGinnis like a "sister"
The attack left McGuire stunned.
"She's very close to her animals, almost like children, I think. She took good care of them. She walked them every day," McGuire said.
McGuire was stabbed multiple times while walking her dog in nearby Franklin Park back in October 2022. At the time, Brady-McGinnis told WBZ there was "no nicer person in the world" than McGuire and that she "would do anything for anybody."
"I lost my sister. She's a sister," McGuire said of McGinnis Tuesday. "She's a wonderful person, very generous, very loving person, loved animals."
Neighbors were scared of dogs
The Boston Police homicide unit is looking into the attack because the injuries were so serious.
McGuire said Brady-McGinnis's four dogs were a risk.
"They had too many dogs. And they put them in cages. Don't put your dog in a cage. You've got to keep them from fighting or whatever. But you know you stay out of people's business," she said.
Neighbors told WBZ they were also scared of the dogs, adding that they barked loudly and often.
guard4her ''People are to be loved, animals are to be used.''
I wonder what kind of love you can have for people when you don't have any for animals such as pets. Are you one of those who think animals don't feel pain?
guard4her I agree people these days worship their pets now more than ever. There are people that talk about how their spouse or parent cares more about the pets than they do their own spouse or children; and the glorifying the animal over the family or other worthy needy humans is sickening to me being there is so much need of born and bred Americans that have been abandoned.
People regularly call themselves pet parents? And put animal ear hats on their babies and themselves? Why have a baby if it is not cute enough it has to look like an ANIMAL? ... this and the focus on pets becomes perverted bordering on bestiality. People do identify as "furries" walking around with tails.
If your job is a zoo or wildlife rehab or growing animals for food or fur, ok, yet when you are an office worker bragging about your $400 vet bill for your 15 year old dog getting a check up on their minerals and enzymes and the many many people that spend thousands on a rescue donkey or cat and film it, it is nauseating when one thinks that human has a family member, friend or someone in their community whose life could be greatly improved with medical care or school or housing AND SUPPORT AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE yet people glorify themselves as animal saviors instead of helping their fellow man.
I enjoy watching videos of wildlife rehab and people with pets yet some, just makes me wonder about them. Our culture is abusive to humans, trafficking people at every opportunity, soft or brutally, yet animals are treated as gods these days. Couches as well as beds, fancy dishes, running water for their water bowls, command of the entire living room, doting owners that consider the animal their child, OUTFITS?
It does sound harsh that animals are to be used yet that is what this put pets on a pedestal is. People get all their love and give all to the animal. You know it when the animal dies and the owner is devastated for years. Animals are bred for human use as companions. The animals lovers are in denial if they get defensive about that fact. We are not here because animals allow us to live in their apartment they pay for... you go and buy a cute pet and imprison it in your place to which it attaches to you being you are the only one it sees and you get stockholm syndrome like animal love. And maybe it is real. But is the excessive devotion of so many people on their pets over their family and fellow man right?
i wonder if the dog was injected or if the dog owner was injected?
Were there smart phones nearby and activated?
Was there a smart meter on the house and activated?
Was there a 5g tower nearby and activated?
Was there some sort of environmental trigger like chem trails heavy that day?
Was there neglect of a new type recently due to cognitive impairment? keeping dogs or anything in cages too long is a bad idea.
Four dogs is a lot especially for an elderly person.
I ask these questions because if you watch there are a lot a LOT of dog attacks the past few years
statistics that are suppressed. There used to be information made public until about 2015 or so and then important topics and topics were avoided by the mainstream media.
I bring up electromagnetic frequencies and injections because both can be tools for wifi transmission and more using the human body.
An audit and investigation needs to be done on these executions by mauling dog that happen in the USA and elsewhere. This not only happens to elderly, or younger adults, yet children are frequent victim of the family dog. Owners or enablers of dangerous dogs get defensive about the danger of a dog. It is part of the mental illness worship pet lovers have of "pets freedom to express aggression and bite matters more than humans safety, freedom and life."

Was there some sort of environmental trigger like chem trails heavy that day? Chem trails combined with electromagnetics can affect mood and behavior of humans and I suspect other mammals.
Is this triggering of a dog to kill a human being activated remotely by the deep state as one of their many satanic experiments and torture of We the People?

non eofurbiz That's similar to the plot of the novel Zoo by James Patterson when pollution and airwaves turn all the animals against humans. Decent read imo.
LindaMay Must have been your sauerkraut gut instinct heralding my return to this forum. I've been drifting around a bit, hoping to find some decent accommodations for the winter, reading some articles and comments when and where I can charge my phone and use free wifi (got no internet plan) and also sometimes I don't feel like sitting in a restaurant or something, so I've been here and there in the background a bit, just not as active in the discussions. I've got some canned olives and the brine in a prepared red cabbage jar I had basically finished eating and was going to add in pickle juice from a jar of spicy pickles I also finished and see what that turns into to have as a side and flavouring and seasoning. I've been eating some dried fish (powdered, dessicated, whole little minnow things) and fresh ginger I think it would go good with.
LindaMay You can officially consider yourself an internet influencer. Today I explored a little European grocery shop and bought a jar of fresh raw sauerkraut from it and sipped some of the juice to try and it is delicious. First time I've had it real and fresh and ALIVE in its intended original natural state without it only being randomly cultured after I open it by whatever gets in the pasteurized varieties I've consumed heretofore. Now I am a cultured convert planning on adding stuff and using the jar as a starter for fermenting garlic and whatever else seems is likely to assimilate synergistically in a palatable way.
Animanarchy Ohhhhh LIFE is soooo good!! Well done baby brother so filled with JOY - thanks!!!
Pssst... I finished a 33 Day Water FAST yesterday -- 11 days WATER only, then until Day 31 adding a ripe avocado + tsp olive oil daily and very slowly adding warm cooked simple greens and then orangies + other simple veggies up to 1 small meal daily to a bigger veggie meal daily, to 2 daily, then integrated an apple, next day pear, then mango, then ๐ then soaked almonds... sheesh, DAY 31 24-hour simmered 1/2c Bone Broth, 2 days later 2 eggs which BROKE THE FAST. Yesterday, Day 33 abit of COD FISH...
Today I enjoy bit of salty sweet starch + cheese lolllllllll and my fav ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฝ
LindaMay That's quite the protocol. How did you feel throughout and after? Did you have enough energy to do everything as usual?
I don't think I ever went a full three days without eating anything though it's fairly normal for me to occasionally skip eating for a day or maybe two, more rarely, or have one meal a day like a filling high protein dinner, maybe some snacks. I'm interested in potentially eventually attempting an extended fast but for now I need to keep up my weight (I'm kind of skinny, 5'11" tall and like 160lbs, maybe slightly over, my weight often fluctuates when I don't have a steady routine) and my strength and energy levels especially lugging all my belongings around on the street with a strained arm injury from like a few months ago so restricting my food intake to the point of being in a catabolic state other than my regular fat burning is currently impractical. I've even kind of feasted on honey recently as a treat when I felt rundown and exhausted and figured my glycogen stores could use replenishing, but mostly I tend to stick to more keto or lower carb foods. A Dollarama somewhat nearby has 200g organic shredded coconut bags for $1.75 so that's a.. steal because I ain't paying that much for my munchies , just kidding I bought one and it's a wonderful snack. Also I've been far from sober a lot lately so I need extra nutrition and have been taking a couple multivitamin/mineral pills daily when I remember.. I'm not sure of the quality but they should do something and seem to help a bit. Like Alex Jones says ~ "The dog needs to eat."
Eat daily cup of salt-based sauerkraut for all necessary vitamines minerals + fiber, a garlic toe, an apple, buy or work "to barter" COD LIVER OIL capsules, 2-3 daily for you + organic honey.
1 tbsp honey melted in warm (not hot) water at night, but to drink cooled off on empty tummy next morn (to gain weight, warm to loose weight).
LindaMay thanks Linda, one of my favorite things, that skating stuff...I used to river skate as a child, no sound but the skates. I used to skate to school.
What a blast wasn't it ๐คฉ Man!! We were the lucky ones!! I remember running on my skates across our mirror frozen lake, skating all the way there on our hilly country road, WHAT A PRISTINE BLAST๐ฅณ๐ญ๐ฅณ
Imagine skating to school!! Just W.o.W. Thanks for that sharing.๐
We had no claim on Mexico. Texas had no claim beyond the Nueces River, and yet we pushed on to the Rio Grande and crossed it. I am always ashamed of my country when I think of that invasion.
