With the Pro Farmer U.S crop tours finished and the E.U in a massive drought, harvest 2022 will shock global markets. We need also need to subtract yields and exports coming from the Black Sea region. This signals the beginning of the collapse phase of the economy. Electric prices so high now that fertilizer and metals manufacturers in the E.U will close indefinitely.

Can't listen to him, but look at all corn related links!!! Who gives a "f...." re corn. Corn grown in USA is all GMO. Grass on the other hand is free and great for livestock. Even the BIRDS I am caring for now will eat bird seed and rice with water, but almost refuse to eat the corn (and it is actual corn, not GMO, grown in my neighbor's backyard). ALL COWS EAT GRASS (for those of us who took piano lessons :)). Even added to gasoline, it DESTROYS your car (rusts from the inside out) years earlier than higher octane. Can't really think of any use for corn, and people will become a lot healthier from its absence.
Edit: for those who will respond to "but it is so crucial a produce in our supply line," think about how toxic it is as a GMO product grown and dessicated with roundup. Do you want to eat it? Do you want your meat to have been fed on it? Or is it just good for your poor neighbors to eat, and you are concerned they'll dig into real food that you need for yourself? Answer of course is backyard farming (or even indoor farming during winter months ... CFLs are bad for people ... just stay at least 8 feet away from them and the dirty energy they generate plummets to zero on meters), but you can actually grow food with them (and generate a little heat) especially if you grow near windows).
Right you are and the same with cattle if they have a choice between GMO and none corn. Just as bad are soy products screwing up you immune system and hormones. Hell ! we are all ready dead.
JTF Truth Ah but "green" claims nuclear (it ISN'T green). Also doesn't really produce a lot of electric. Went down that rabbit hole as part of my phd dissertation They call nuc "dual purpose" ... the real purpose being to create plutonium which can only be done in a reactor, the other purpose being electric production, but basically is a byproduct of boiling water used to cool the plants. And ALL REACTORS leak (elements like tritium cannot be contained and thus are "acceptable" leaks). I won't go into it a lot, but electricity can and is being harvested from the AIR (ala Tesla). We have been lied to so much. There is also hydroelectric and geothermal energy, but a fortunate consequence of where you live. All that said, petroleum is a renewal resource (like the planet's bloodstream, it becomes replenished, old wells become new).
