As I understand it, or how its used, Marxism/communism have the same thing in common. Preach utopia but materialize a dystopia. "Everyone is equal" I hear...but history shows everyone is equally miserable while the politically connected live high on the hog.

Our Union is communistic in many ways. The workers in your department gets paid the same no matter who produces what. Many are lazy and it leads to bad moral. So, while yes, everyone is making a living wage, the product quality decreases because there is no incentive to work harder than the next guy. It turns into getting away with as much as can for as long as you can.
