At least 11 field commanders from several terrorist groups, including spiritual leader of Jabhat Fatah Al-Sham (former al-Nusra Front) in Aleppo, have been eliminated by Special Forces units of the Syrian Army in the past five days, a source in government forces HQ in Aleppo said Thursday.

According to the source, a total of 46 militants from al-Nusra Front, Ahrar Ash-Sham and Jaysh al-Muhajireen, have been killed in pinpoint-strike missions.

"Abu al-Walid al-Khani, a spiritual leader of Jabhat Fatah Al-Sham militants in Aleppo, was among those killed," the source told RIA Novosti.
