America is literally violently ill. This society is feverish on the valorization of violence. Victims of violence - speaking out and demanding accountability for racism (such as in Charleston or Ferguson), or regarding violent sexism (as in Planned Parenthood) - are blamed as the cause. This 'blame culture' is a symptom of America's frankly sick relationship to violence.
No other way to put it: America is mentally ill

In fact the FBI revised its' classification system to now label all murders involving three or more people as a mass shooting. That's not a mass shooting, it's murder and murder isn't a mass shooting, it's not a public shooting by a corporate hired assassin, provided that we even assume those are real, which is doubtful evidently.
So it's implied then that because 27 other people became involved in a murder I'm supposed to lose my right to be safe in my own home or while walking about? That's how it works in places like Germany, the UK, China, North Korea.
Group punishment is illegal in the US for a reason, but it's not illegal in other nations. Wake up to reality and take responsibility for living in a dangerous world, otherwise the self appointed rulers will be more than happy to take complete control over your life.
