Comment: Nuclear power would be a huge problem if the current society's technology crashes.
We're not sure how long the elite could survive in bunkers if/when this happens!

Yeah, anarchy is not that.
I guess they meant that type of anarchy where all technology is removed. Of course the joke of the idiot guy saying he can go see any movie in the theater is just that one guy... the rest speak of foraging, etc.
But it does seem to illustrate the problem that without modern technology, we are screwed. Without the power plants or fuel, things will melt down. It's depressing, we're like junkies that can't withdraw- otherwise we ruin everything.
And it reminds me of what Bryant M. Shiller wrote on his page for Origin of life: The 5th Option:
"6] the possible inclusion of a self-limiting feature within the life system design that would serve to target specifically any evolved species capable of advanced technology. This has important consequences that could threaten the future survival of the human species. The unexpected conclusions are nothing short of spectacular! "
