we used to spray lemon juice in our hair and then lay in the sun...lemon juice also got on our skin. the idea was to make more blond streaks (i was raised in san diego near the beach.)
perhaps a combination of the chlorine and pool chemicals and lemon? that i could buy.

now, i have treaded through a bunch of cow parsnip plants in shorts and then was burned terribly in places when i got into the sunlight not realizing the plant is phytoactive... now that was painful. BUT the reaction happened immediately upon exposure to sunlight.
the marks these girls have are alarming...look like chemical burns from some serious stuff...NOT lemon/lime juice...
