If China lets Iran fall to the West they will only have Russian oil as the next big Western step will be to put oil embargoes on China for Human rights and climate change issues.
China and Iran have been resisting external control (from the West.)
So the Western elites have marked them for destruction. This has pushed those countries, and also Russia, into wasteful defense spending and bluffing tactics.
I wish they would just expose the lies that created this whole mess.
China, Iran and Russia have their problems. Big ones. But their biggest problem is the Western power elites. They should come out and say it. Iran actually tries, and the RT news organization tries to do it, too. China seems to be more coy.
This is probably the best chance they are going to get to tell their story. Public opinion has never been more favorable to such a move. I think it would help to undermine the anti-Iran, anti-China propaganda that is being cooked up in the West. People in the West have never been more open to the idea that they are being betrayed by their own leaders. Continuing to expose that betrayal could undermine support for more military action enough to prevent a major war.
