6 more activists arrested in Orlando for Sharing food with the hungry. 2 young children are being served as close to 20 police officers swarm in and arrest the food servers. This brings to total number of arrest for this horrendous crime up to 21 people within a two week time period!

Universal Declaration of Human Rights
This story deserves a little background for those who have not been following it.
The group giving out the food started their work in downtown Orlando in 2005.
Some residents complained in 2006, and the city passed a law that basically made it a permit violation to do this. The law was challenged in court in 2008 as a violation of First Amendment rights. But a Court of Appeals upheld it in April of this year.
Our Bill of Rights does not include the right to not starve to death. Only the Universal Declaration of Human Rights goes to this depth:
Article 25.
(1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
(2) Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection.
My church, with others, has been on a drive to get the Universal Declaration adopted and enforced across the planet. Hillary Clinton mentions Universal Human Rights quite often. Should we be cynical regarding her verbal support for the idea? Some say this Declaration is just a setup for a fake utopia founded on slavery. Yet, if honestly and fully implemented, it could result in a society of free people living at a whole new and higher level of existence.
The problem is in making it so.
Here we see some small-minded Orlando citizens preventing some bighearted Orlando citizens from helping society make good on one of its most basic social mandates. This really should not be tolerated. Those police should hand in their badges.
