Samantha Gilman was reported missing on Saturday when she vanished in broad daylight without a trace. The 21-year-old woman is home now, but not without an aura of mystery surrounding her and her disappearance. She was only missing for two days, but during those two days, it's anybody's guess what happened to her.

Samantha Gilman disappeared from the St. Petersburg area in Florida near the intersection of 1st Ave. South and 4th street. She was on her way to meet her brother at a park concert but never made it. Her 17-year-old brother, at the time, was considering the worst case scenario:

I haven't slept in two days. I'm going through all the worst-case scenarios in my head, whether someone put something in her drink at a bar and snatched her, and now they're three states away. I just don't know.

Fortunately, she returned home Tuesday afternoon after her mysterious disappearance, but she is unable to speak to anyone as she needs time to heal. According to her father, "Somebody got her." These words are disturbing when nothing else is given for clues. What is suspected is that she was abducted and either escaped or was released. She was groggy and injured and couldn't tell her family about what had happened to her over the span of the two days she was missing.

This mysterious disappearance brings good news, with the young 21-year-old being brought home "safely," but there are so many other women missing in the country right now. Will all of these mysterious disappearances come with closure?
