Reports are coming in from key swing ridings in Ontario and other other provinces that voters are being called at home with false information that their voting locations have changed, and in some instances sending voters an hour in the wrong direction.

Spokeswoman Francine Bastien said Elections Canada has confirmed that complaints are coming in from several key ridings - ridings many are aware that are important to the success of Stephen Harper and the Conservatives.

In a statement to the CBC "We just want to make sure that both the media and the voters know that there have not been any changes in the voting [locations] ... and that the documents they receive from Elections Canada [and] the Elections Canada website is the accurate information they should trust in order to vote tomorrow," Bastien said.

Sean Devlin of the Political watchdog website sh*tharperdid.com has also released a call to action to their supporters.

"Today we are getting reports out of Guelph, Toronto, Ottawa, Edmonton & Prince George that people are receiving pre-recorded calls telling them their polling station has changed. This is a Republican-Style illegal hoax that is being used to keep people from voting!" says Devlin.

Voters in all ridings across Canada are being advised that if they receive a call informing them that their polling station has changed that they immediately dial #57 on their phone, copy down the number if it is available, and to contact Elections Canada at the following link - http://www.elections.ca/courEL.aspx?lang=e.
