Location of Sighting: Rugeley, Staffs
Date of Sighting: 4th April, 2010
Time: 10.30

Witness Statement: Both me and my boyfriend seen this and it definitely wasn't a chinese lantern. We had seen a bright light rising then hovering. This then traveled across the sky to the right. As we were walking, my boyfriend took a picture. What we didn't realise was, when we looked at photo, there seemed to be a beam of light coming down from the u.f.o and one also rising up from ground. We could not see this, thoough, by eye. It moved too fast and too high, it disappeared as it rose up.

When we got back home there was a power cut and alarms going off around us. We were not far from town where we had seen this. It was all very weird.
