An earthquake with magnitude of 5.2 rocked Timor Leste on Thursday, with no report of damage or casualty, Indonesian meteorology agency said here.

The quake struck at 09:09 Jakarta time (0909 GMT) with epicenter at 291 kilometers northeast Dili, the capital of Timor Leste and at 100 kilometers in depth, an official of the agency said.

Timor Leste sits on a vulnerable quake hit zone so call "the Pacific Ring of Fire" where two continental plates meet that cause frequent volcanic movements.
