Burlington, Vermont - The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for communities along Lake Champlain.

With continued snow melt and rain, the lake surpassed flood stage today.

Minor flooding is anticipated.

The National Weather Service says at 100 feet, the water will enter some lakefront properties, and flood low lying roads, piers and docks.

The lake level in Burlington reached 100.2 feet on this morning.

A flood warning has been issued for Grand Isle, Franklin, Chittenden, Addison, and Rutland counties.
