March 2019 was another month of significant extreme weather events, with record-breaking flooding, hailstorms, snowfalls and wildfires - on every continent, no matter the season.

While the media hypes the pseudo-scientific claim that climate change is man-made and whose effects should really only concern future generations, here and now the climate is shifting - and, besides mitigating some of its effects, there is nothing governments can do to prevent this shift from happening.

Among the 'highlights' in March were catastrophic flooding in the US Midwest after a 'winter hurricane' inundated much of the US with snow and rain. Nebraska was especially hardest hit as two-thirds of the state became an inland sea. Of the multiple powerful cyclones in the southern hemisphere last month, one caused unprecedented flooding in southeastern Africa and killed 1,000 people.

Huge dust-devils, 'snownados', 'thundersnow', and deluges of hail and rain occur with such regularity now, they're practically 'normal'. The same goes for spectacular meteor fireball events, which - after a decade of not seeing them - even the mainstream media reports on these days.

February 2019 was another month of significant extreme weather events, with record-breaking floods and some incredible snowfalls.

While the media focuses on and hyped the few record warm events in February, they were relatively quiet about record-breaking cold events and continue missing the trend of decreasing temperatures around the world, particularly in the Northern hemisphere - thus diverting public attention from what matters: the serious potential possible for some form of 'ice age' as we enter Solar Minimum, the effects of which are already being felt by millions of people.

The most devastating rainfall events last month took place in the Middle East: Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Jordan saw torrents of water wash over desert. Elsewhere, an unprecedented flash-flood soaked the world's driest place: the Atacama desert in Chile. Once again, cold and snow records were broken. Chaos and blackouts ensued in the Czech Republic, dozens of flights were grounded in northern India, and record snow blocked roads in Pakistan.

The US saw the worst of the cold this month. From heavy snowfalls in Seattle to unusual temperatures in New Mexico and Las Vegas, and a 'bomb cyclone' that hit eastern states and left 550,000 people without power. Finally, meteor fireballs again hit the headlines in February, starting with an exploding meteor over Cuba that shattered building windows.

The solar minimum is taking its toll... and it's just the beginning. Among the worrying phenomena are record low temperatures as well as increased volcanic and seismic activity.

After months of copious precipitation and record breaking floods around the world, water is now falling as snow over the Northern Hemisphere.

Winter storm Gaia slammed 30% of the US, forcing road closures, flight delays, suspension of activities, and crop losses.

But that wasn't all. What was once a rarity, the "polar vortex" has split into 3 fronts plunging temperatures in Canada, the US, Europe and Asia well into sub-zero ranges. The northern US reached a record -48°C, disrupting normal life and all-time record snowfall in Chicago and St. Louise wreak havoc, stretching the cities to their limits. A sign of what is to come?

Central Europe and parts of the west were also blanketed by snow as records kept coming. So much so that it's now becoming the new 'normal.'

About 25 km above the Barents Sea, in the stratosphere above northern Scandinavia, temperatures reached a bone chilling -91°C, while 2 meters of snow buried parts of Italy and Austria. The cold temperatures forced the German government to declare a state of emergency, meanwhile the forests of Romania were also buried under meters of snow.

Asia and the Middle East also received their share of record snow; China reported record crop loses, Jordan, Iran and Lebanon were paralyzed by snow and cold temperatures, and northwestern Tunisia was forced to close 31 roads.

While parts of the Northern Hemisphere were experiencing record cold, Australia went through its hottest month on record - demonstrating the global effects of changes in the jet stream due to the solar minimum.

The accumulation of ice crystals in the upper atmosphere continue to cause 'portents in the sky' and facilitate electrical phenomena...

In addition to the property damage and loss of life, the extreme weather is crippling crop and livestock production. Along with it we will continue to see food prices rise around the world.

Central and eastern China experienced one of the most intense winters so far; Beijing had to endure one of the coldest Decembers on record, and heavy rains and landslides hit the Southwest, leaving 4 dead.

After the most extensive snow cover on record for the US in November, storm Diego blanketed the Southeast leaving 400,000 without power, while unusually intense snowfalls hit the Southwest, and parts of the Northeast and West.

South Korea had bitterly cold temperatures so early in the season, while heavy snowfalls hit Japan, delivering 80 inches in the district of Yamagata.

Snow also disrupted normal life in Bosnia, Romania and Bulgaria, forcing schools to close and causing power outages. Meanwhile, Austria got 55 inches of snow in just 7 days... And winter has just started!

A "swarm" of meteor fireballs streaked across the skies of Spain during the last couple of months, 3 of them made their passage in just 5 hours in December. Mexico, Texas and San Francisco also had their share of spectacular fireballs this month.

Saudi Arabia continues to be battered by hail, heavy rain and floods that have triggered greening of the desert in some parts. While flash floods displaced 45,000 people in Indonesia, and Sri Lanka was inundated by 14 inches of rainfall in one night.

Unseasonable tornadoes wreaked havoc in Florida, Washington and Illinois, while a twister in Java, Indonesia, destroyed 156 houses.

A strong eruption of the Krakatoa volcano caused a tsunami in Indonesia leaving 430 dead and 22,000 displaced, and another volcanic eruption in Vanuatu triggered a series of earthquakes that cracked open parts of the island of Ambrym.

Venezuela was also hit by earthshaking events, a 5.6 magnitude quake hit the region of Carabobo opening fissures in the ground and buildings.

This last month of November the town of Paradise in California turned into a living hell. Apocalyptic wildfires ravaged the state triggering mass evacuations, causing 85 deaths and record losses. 1,890,438 acres were turned to ashes. But that's not all, floods and snow have been added to the deadly mix causing more destruction.

Seismic activity and other geological phenomena increased in November. A 6.3 degree earthquake in Iran and a 7.0 in Anchorage, Alaska, to mention the most significant. Meanwhile, volcanoes in Guatemala, Russia, Mexico, and Italy all sprung into action and India and Saudi Arabia were affected by huge earth cracks that are becoming more common around the world. The earth appears to be 'opening up'.

Heavy rain, floods and big hail have become the new normal - even in some countries' dry season - causing hundreds of deaths this month, failed crops and infrastructure damage. Kuwait, Vietnam and Sydney paid a heavy toll, but the Middle East and Italy were the most affected. Record extreme weather did serious damage to Italy with hurricane like wind gusts, fiery storms and heavy floods causing the death of 30 and heavy damage to crops and entire forests destroyed.

The sheets of rain that have been falling have also been causing liquefaction of the soil that has provoked landslides in Panama, Costa Rica, Brazil , Peru and Ecuador, to name just a few. Much of the downpours - in combination with increasingly low temperatures caused by the solar minimum - also caused heavy early snowfalls that surprised many.

Meteor fireballs also gave us quite an spectacle this month, but in a rather unusual event, four meteor fireballs blazed over southern Spain, two of them sighted within 2 hours.

At the risk of sounding repetitive, October this year was, yet again, a month of major and destructive amounts of precipitation across the globe. At this point, the intensity and frequency of rainfall (often including hail) in so many places is getting a little worrying. From Asia to the Americas to Africa, Europe and the Middle East, towns, cities and villages in all these areas experienced massive downpours in just a few hours that destroyed property and took lives.
Winter also arrived early this month in many places, with the European Alps, the Canadian and US Rockies (including further south in Arizona), China, South Korea, Pakistan and India all receiving unusually large amounts of the white stuff. As usual, there were meteorites/fireballs aplenty and, of course, the increasingly common sinkholes made their appearance, in one instance killing two people. For residents of Florida, October was marked by the arrival of Hurricane Michael with 155mph (250kmph) winds while Cyclone Titli hit the Indian coast leaving 17 people dead and 300,000 evacuated. All in all, it was yet another month of 'climate' madness on the big blue marble - matched only, you might say, by the political madness that appears to have taken hold of the minds of many people.

This past month of September was a wild and dangerous ride for many denizens of planet earth. From the USA, to Europe, India, China and Africa, the primary threat came from the massive and sudden amounts of rainfall that swept away land, homes and people. At the same time, many areas received unusually early (or late for the Southern hemisphere) snowfall. Remember, for most of September it was still summer time! North America, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Australasia all received lots of the white stuff.
Hurricane Florence was the major hurricane for this September as it slammed into the SE US coast killing 17 people and dropping massive amounts of rain, while 3 typhoons hit the NW Pacific causing widespread destruction to Hong Kong, the Philippines and Japan. Typhoon Jebi, which hit Japan, was the strongest storm in 25 years. Towards the end of the month, a major 7.5 earthquake that gave rise to a devastating tsunami ravaged Indonesia's Sulawesi island. The death toll currently stands at over 2,000, with authorities saying that that number could triple as recovery operations continue.

Like almost every other month in recent years, this past September was also marked by multiple volcanic eruptions, major wildfires and the ever present (and increasing) meteor/fireball sightings. In short, the planet is still rocking and rolling at an alarming pace. Now is not the time to look away!

Heavy rains, hail storms, floods and landslides continued to wreak havoc this past month of August, from China to the USA. Hundreds died, and thousands were displaced.

Heatwaves hit hard in parts of Europe, Australia and the US, only to be extinguished by incredible amounts of rain - and even snow in the case of Sardinia - amid unprecedented temperature drops. But Sardinia was not the only area to get a serious dose of August snow, Australia, Uruguay, and the Alps got their share too.

The Ring of Fire continued with high activity, and this wasn't just reflected in the volcanic eruptions, but in a series of powerful earthquakes above 6 magnitude that rattled Indonesia, causing the deaths of more than 300 people. Meanwhile, Venezuela was struck by a 7.3 magnitude quake, the largest in 118 years.

An increasing number of waterspouts, 'firenados' and dust-devils also made their appearance around the world this August. Once a rare phenomenon, waterspouts are increasingly common these days in some areas. At the same time, vortexes of water, fire and dust are appearing in very unusual places.

To top the madness off, several lakes and rivers around the world simply disappeared this August. What's going on? Time will tell!

This month was marked by incredible amounts of water falling in a very short period of time all over the world; killing thousands, displacing millions... and damaging more crops.

China, South Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, South Africa, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Sweden, Russia, Italy and the US, were the most affected by the sheets of rain and the resulting flash floods during July. Japan also experienced an historic flood that caused widespread damage, 200 deaths and thousands displaced.

Italy, Brazil and South Africa all had their share of unseasonable or 'rare' snow this month, leaving the local population rather surprised.

As the 'heavens opened' in many places, high temperatures, droughts and wildfires hit California, Sweden, Norway, and Greece; the latter being the worst affected with 94 deaths, hundreds of displaced, 2,500 square kilometers ravaged with hundreds of people forced to flee to the beaches.

There were significant fires in California, but no record was broken, until now, the fire of 1937 maintains the record with almost 90,000 square kilometers burned. Even combining all of the hectares burned by fire in California in the last five years aren't enough to beat that 1937 record. In addition, since the 1930s there has been a net decrease in the incidence of fires in the state.

The same applies to the fires that developed in Europe, no records were beaten and there has been a significant drop in the incidence of fires since the 1980s, as Adapt 2030 has stated. The high temperatures recorded in July in Europe do not compare to those of the 1930s, not to mention the extreme heat experienced in Europe and much of the US over several years in the late 19th century.

Again, we see the mass media focusing and magnifying the localized incidences of high temperatures and wildfires; one headline even stated that the world hasn't experienced such high temperatures since the emergence of our civilization (10,000 years ago), a statement that is just plain wrong.

The Earth's surface temperatures are indeed rising due to geologic and volcanic activity, and the more direct incidence of solar rays due to the weakening of the magnetosphere. But forgotten amid the hype is that temperatures in higher layers of the atmosphere have been plummeting. Proof of this is seen in the increasing incidence of solar and lunar halos, noctilucent clouds, multicolored steles, ever-growing hailstorms and of course, unseasonable snowfalls. And let's not forget that we had rare snow events in the northern and southern hemispheres in both June and July this year.

So don't be fooled, many of the earth changes we are now seeing are due to the low solar activity, the weakening of the magnetosphere, as well as the cosmic rays maximum. And all these changes are not specific to our Earth, we are finding parallels in other planets of our solar system. As someone said, "not by fire, but by ice..."

This past month of June saw many areas of the planet inundated with downpours of all shapes and sizes; from violent hailstorms and thunderstorms in parts of Asia (some of them carrying fish, shrimp and octopuses) and Europe, to an amazing mix of hurricane like winds, heavy rain, and floods in the US, Mexico and parts of South America.

Volcanic activity continues to break records around the BBM. The Kilauea volcano continued to wreak havoc on the big island of Hawaii, destroying houses and engulfing the area with toxic fumes. Meanwhile, after years of continued activity, Guatemala's Fire volcano erupted violently, causing the deaths of at least 109 people. Hundreds are still missing and entire towns were covered with meters of ash.

Other than the spectacular nature of these eruptions, the important point to remember is that all that ash saturates the upper layers of the atmosphere reflecting solar rays and promoting water condensation and ice formation. This of course is not good news given the current solar minimum.

It's quite possible that, as we move forward, global temperatures will continue to plummet, and given the massive amounts of water pouring down, next winter may well be a rough ride for many in the Northern Hemisphere.

Speaking of cold temperatures, unseasonable snow continued to make headlines even during late spring and the beginning of summer across both Northern and Southern climes. The cold snaps hit the US, Canada, Chile, Australia, Ukraine and Austria; surprising the population, and damaging crops.

Increasingly strong hailstorms and bigger hail stones have also been reported all over the world. The US, Greece, Italy, Serbia, India and Russia were the most affected this month.
