Here's a list of crimes on Los Angeles' new District Attorney's do-not-prosecute list

George Gascon
© Fox NewsLos Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon, also backed by Soros, has presided over a crime spike since he was inaugurated in December 2020.
George Gascon, Los Angeles County's new head prosecutor, unveiled an agenda Monday that will usher in changes to the local criminal justice system by his refusal to prosecute certain crimes on top of other sweeping changes.

Gascon, a former San Francisco District Attorney and former Los Angeles police officer, announced in a series of policy directives that many misdemeanor cases will be dismissed, saying that nearly half of those incarcerated on pre-trial misdemeanor offenses suffer from mental illness.

"Los Angeles County courts should not be revolving doors for those in need of treatment and services," one directive said.

As of Tuesday, many misdemeanor cases will be declined or dismissed prior to arraignment unless "factors for considerations" exist. The list of offenses includes trespassing, disturbing the peace, a minor in possession of alcohol, driving without a license, driving with a suspended license, making criminal threats, drug and paraphernalia possession, being under the influence of a controlled substance, public intoxication, loitering to commit prostitution and resisting arrest.

Chicago minority communities skeptical about COVID-19 vaccine

covid vaccine
Some people are still skeptical of COVID-19 vaccines despite FDA approval and evaluation process.
Two vaccines currently seeking federal approval were shown to be safe and more than 90% effective in trails but a segment of public remains wary.

There have been big concerns in many minority communities about the safety of the new COVID-19 vaccine. Medical experts and activists are working on ways to change the perspective these groups have toward the vaccination.

Comment: Yes they are, and with rather manipulative methods as well.

Kerri D. and her 20-year-old daughter Mya Jones said they would not take a COVID-19 vaccine. The multi-racial Chicago residents, who are of Native American and Puerto Rican decent, question the speed of how quickly the vaccine was developed as well as its ingredients.

The vaccine's arrival in record time is a cause for skepticism for some.

"I don't know what's in it. Why risk it?" Kerri D. said.

The deep distrust of any COVID-19 vaccine comes from communities of color that were hit disproportionately hard by COVID-19.

'Not a conspiracy theory': Alberta Premier Kenney issues dire warning about impending 'Great Reset'

The premier of Canada's oil-rich province Alberta, Jason Kenney, has sounded the alarm over the so-called Great Reset, describing it as a "grab bag of left-wing ideas, for less freedom, and more government."

In a four-minute long explainer video on his social media channels, Kenney says the Great Reset is "not a conspiracy theory, but an actual set of concrete proposals" based on a book of the same name by Klaus Schwab.

Schwab is the president and founder of the World Economic Forum, aka Davos, or as Kenney describes it, the "biggest gathering of global hypocrites in history."

The premier claims Schwab sent a copy to every government leader around the world, detailing his thesis that governments and societies should seize the opportunity of the public health and economic crisis wreaked by the Covid-19 pandemic to reimagine the world and radically change policies.

Best of the Web: The Leftist obsession with Twitter alternative Parler reveals their infatuation with thought control

mind control
In my recent article 'Power Is An Illusion, Control Is A Facade' I outlined the realities behind power structures and how people dominate other people by conditioning them with false assumptions and misplaced fears. For example, many people make themselves easy to control by remaining dependent on governments during crisis events and emergencies; if you actually believe the government will protect you from any and all eventualities then why would you ever learn to protect and provide for yourself? The infantization of a society makes citizens easy to dominate.

Another example would be instilling a fear of "standing out" among one's peers - Many people are uncomfortable with the idea of being seen as aberrant or in opposition to the "majority" and will seek to fit in, even when they fundamentally disagree. A ruling elite merely need to manufacture the assumption or impression that the "majority" of the population are in agreement with oppressive measures. Even if this is not the case, the perception of a majority can be used to control those people that would otherwise rebel.

Controlling a population is more about thought control or "perception management" than it is about direct force. Power is an illusion, no large group of people can be controlled by force alone; eventually, they will find a way to wear down the totalitarian system and destroy it. So, the people must be tricked into enslaving themselves and each other. The people must police the very prison they are trapped in, otherwise they could simply walk away anytime they wished. It's the only way a tyranny can survive in the long term.

Comment: Speaking of MSNBC, watch Chris Hayes try to completely dismiss valid allegations of election fraud without a shred of actual investigation on his part - in pure 'Orange Man Bad' style. The Queen of Russiagate Rachel Maddow would be proud:

Opposition builds to totalitarian leaders and their agendas, who's next?

UPDATE: Mea Culpa, this is not news. But an historical reminder of what happens when the people get fed up with a corrupt government incapable of serving their interests.

Rememeber this? The president of Argentina has left the building. According to the Daily Mail 20 years ago :
President Fernando De la Rua resigned and fled the government palace in a helicopter, driven from office by a devastating economic crisis and days of rioting that left 22 people dead and homes and supermarkets across Argentina ransacked.
Fast forward to today:

This is the news: Police faced rioters with stones this week.

Comment: Some of this has, apparently, already begun. The following is video taken outside Hillary Clinton's home in New York only a few weeks ago:

Inflation is back big-time and the dollar's value is sinking

The conventional view of inflation is that it's not only low, but dangerously low and in need of aggressive stimulus.

But that view is increasingly hard to defend, given all the things that are soaring in price. Consider:

SNL's well-paid Pete Davidson chastises devastated restaurant owners for laughs

Pete Davidson
"Saturday Night Live" cast member and Staten Island native Pete Davidson used his paid position at NBC on Saturday to make fun of his hometown and lecture restaurant owners protesting the latest COVID restrictions threatening their livelihoods.

"The bar, shockingly, is in a neighborhood with the second-highest COVID infections in all of New York, so the rule is that they're supposed to let people eat or drink outside, and the owner said no one wants to do that because they'll go out of business," Davidson said, before delivering several punchlines about his fellow Staten Islanders.

"So I take it you found these protests frustrating?" asked his co-star, Colin Jost.

"Yeah, man, they're making us look like babies," Davidson said, before advocating that everyone stay at home.

Prominent anti-vaccine pediatrician Dr. Paul Thomas has license suspended by the Oregon Medical Board

Dr. Paul Thomas

Dr. Paul Thomas, a prominent anti-vaccine pediatrician in Oregon, had his license suspended Dec. 3 on an emergency basis after the state's medical board found evidence he had violated standard medical practices related to vaccines.

The Oregon Medical Board took the unusual step after reviewing evidence that alleged Thomas guided his patients away from getting the standard course of childhood vaccinations โ€” and that patients suffered vaccine-preventable diseases possibly as a result.

"The Board has determined from the evidence available at this time that Licensee's continued practice of medicine would pose an immediate danger to the public and to his patients," the board's order of emergency suspension states. 'Therefore, it is necessary to immediately suspend his license to practice medicine. To do otherwise would subject Licensee's patients to the serious risk of harm while this case remains under investigation."

Comment: Oregon seems to want to silence anyone in a position of authority who questions the officials stances on covid and vaccines. They also suspended the license of a doctor who publicly shared his anti-mask stance.

Eight people were killed, including six Americans, on Thursday when a helicopter belonging to a multinational peacekeeping force that monitors the 1979 Israeli-Egyptian peace agreement crashed in the Sinai Peninsula during a routine mission, officials said.

One American was badly injured in the crash of the UH-60 Black Hawk, which went down near the island of Tiran, the Multinational Force and Observers said.

The Rome-based MFO, which was created by Egypt and Israel after they signed the peace agreement, said the two others killed were a French peacekeeper and a Czech member of the force. It did not release the names of the dead, pending notification of their families.

Israeli and Egyptian officials said the US survivor was evacuated by the Egyptian military and then transferred to an Israeli aircraft for transport to Israel, the Washington Post reported.

Facebook and Google 'complicit' in censorship and repression in Vietnam, Amnesty International says

vietnam social media
Amnesty International has released a new report condemning tech giants as being complicit in censorship across Vietnam, with "state-sponsored harassment rampant" on YouTube and Facebook, the report said. The two social media platforms are "tools of the Vietnamese authorities' censorship and harassment of its population," according to the human rights organization's 78-page report published Monday.

Amnesty International said the two social media platforms have turned into "hunting grounds for censors, military cyber-troops and state-sponsored trolls." It interviewed dozens of human rights activists, journalists, lawyers, writers and former prisoners of conscience, as well as relying on info from Facebook and Google.

Online censorship includes geo-blocking content that has been deemed to be critical of the Vietnamese government, Amnesty International said, also claiming that authorities are deploying "sophisticated campaigns on these platforms to harass everyday users into silence and fear."
