According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) , tropical wave nine is moving from the center to the west of Venezuela, and when interacting with the Intertropical Convergence Zone, it causes areas of winds and rain of varying intensity in several regions of the country , from the Essequibo Guayana to the Andes and the state of Zulia.
The agency forecasts that for the afternoon and evening, "cloud cover will increase, associated with scattered rain or showers in most of the country, with greater intensity and frequency in areas of Bolívar, Amazonas, Greater Caracas, the Andes, and Zulia . This situation is caused by the Intertropical Convergence Zone/Monsoon Trough, which is quite active in the center and north of the country, in addition to local convective effects ."
