The Goldback® is the world’s first physical, interchangeable, gold money, that is designed to accommodate even small transactions . . .New ideas are emerging fast and some of them might have merit.
... a popular economic philosophy in the 17th and 18th centuries. In this system, the British colonies were moneymakers for the mother country. The British put restrictions on how their colonies spent their money so that they could control their economies...We have been down the route of coin before...Putting it embossed in paper doesn't protect us from being manipulated with that money system as well.
some of the concepts in the Constitution still have meritSome cling to their bibles (Obama nation would say), but others cling to their constitutions and flags... Instead of melding in constitutions articles and sections contents, why not turn to an overhaul of corporate governance?
Libel and slander don't need criminal laws. Incitement to violence and conspiracy to commit violence are already part of the criminal codes, and if you can prove that, you don't need a separate law for libel/slander. Civil penalties are already extreme for it. Just look at Alex Jones.I have to admit I didn't look into the facts about these cases and after more research (including looking at the FIRE site some more) withdraw my complaints on this law retraction. My shoot from the hip was imagining being on the other end of "defund police"(for example). A local sheriff (public official) at their home (or a Supreme Court judge) facing a bused in Antifa crowd outside their house inciting violence without being specific to a named official avoiding providing proof that they are inciting violence...
Mercantilism is a nationalist economic policy that is designed to maximize the exports and minimize the imports for an economy. In other words, it seeks t o maximize the accumulation of resources within the country and use those resources for one-sided trad e . It promotes imperialism, colonialism, protectionism, currency manipulation, and tariffs and subsidies on traded goods to achieve that goal. The policy aims to reduce a possible current account deficit or reach a current account surplus, and it includes measures aimed at accumulating monetary reserves by a positive balance of trade, especially of finished goods . Historically, such policies might have contributed to war and motivated colonial expansion.[1]Mercantilist theory varies in sophistication from one writer to another and has evolved over time.Did the depiction by the professor differ from the above?
New Hampshire's criminal libel law makes it a misdemeanor to say or write anything that you know is false and that will expose someone to "public hatred, contempt or ridicule . " According to the local police department, Frese violated this law when he posted a Facebook comment calling an officer a "coward" who was "covering up for a corrupt cop."
To me it comes down to the actual facts in the case...If someone can lie (and our politicians do that all the time) and say a cop is bad when they are not, that is libel. But getting rid of these laws to me can invite abuse the other way. People can start defaming and libeling (especially with lawyers involved) and ruin all sorts of people's lives.
This article is written in such a way that the reader is to assume(not a choice I am going to make) that the cop (in this case) was a "coward" who was "covering up for a corrupt cop." What if he wasn't?
