In an interview with Spanish radio station COPE on Wednesday, the head of the Catholic Church was asked his views on the chaos that has unfolded in the region since Kabul fell to the Taliban last month.
According to the pontiff, he had seen wisdom in comments from Merkel, and attempted to translate them into Spanish for listeners:
"It is necessary to put an end to the irresponsible policy of intervening from the outside and building democracy in other countries, ignoring the traditions of the people."The pope said he "felt a sense of wisdom" in the sentiment, and added that Merkel is "one of the world's great political figures." However, in reality, as Russian news organizations later pointed out, the statement was actually made by Putin at a joint press conference with Merkel in Moscow last month.
Just hours before the pope's radio appearance, the Russian president used a speech to a group of students to again blast American intervention in Afghanistan.
"The result is one tragedy, one loss... American troops were present in this region, and for 20 years they tried to civilize people, and to introduce their own norms and standards of life in the broadest sense... including in the political organization of society. The result is zero, if not to say that it is negative."Biden, defending the decision to withdraw troops from the country, said earlier this week:
"We've got to learn from our mistakes. This decision about Afghanistan is not just about Afghanistan. It's about ending an era of major military operations to remake other countries."

Does Biden really want to go there? "We've got to the learn from our mistakes." What rubbish. Here's an eye opener for you. Look for the video further down in the article linked below. Note the Taliban dressed in U.S. military uniforms. Am I shocked? Why should I be? They are, of course, funded and supported--and always have been--by the U.S. .gov via CIA and military intelligence. The pictures with Taliban troops dressed in U.S. military uniforms with U.S. military gear simply reveal to the world the actual and true situation : the U.S. has never brought nor attempted to bring democracy anywhere. They have simply used the U.S. military forces as the enforcement arm of the New World Order so that those Banksters and Grifters can plunder the assets, resources, and people of any given country. Still illegally sucking oil out of Syria, are we boys?
Maybe the angry miltary personnel are finally wising up. The U.S. military does not stand for good and well being toward nations. The U.S. .gov and miltary stands for subjugation, control, and slavery of peoples throughout this world. They do not represent one ideal expressed in the U.S. Constitution nor Bill of Rights. They are corrupt entities which should dissolve as soon as they are able.
The Taliban fighters are your brethern in arms. Embrace them. [Link] And never be fools again.

In any case, Lennon's quote becomes even more apt in situations like these. We don't know the truth. Since "waking up" in 2015 and realizing that the CIA created and funded Al Qaeda and continued to do so while U.S. military forces entered the ME, I've always supposed that the terroris group du jour was CIA funded and resourced. We best use humor--which equally helps distance ourselves from an emotionally fraught situation offering the possibility of gaining a clearer vision of events and how they're unfolding.
What that quote from the Procyon meant to me was that you strike when the time is right. Extreme clarity of vision is required for this capacity. When you "strike at the right time," very little effort or action can actually result in a huge victory quite out of proportion to one's efforts.
