Sao Paulo police say they are indicting Brazilian model Najila Trindade and her former partner over her rape allegation against football star Neymar.
Police said Tuesday they indicted the model for procedural fraud, slanderous denunciation and extortion.
Her former partner Estivens Alves is accused of disclosing erotic content, which was then published online.
Trindade went to Sao Paulo police to
accuse Neymar of raping her at a Paris hotel in May. Neymar denied the accusation and said their relations were consensual.
Prosecutors
officially closed the investigation against Neymar earlier this month, citing a lack of evidence against him.
The Associated Press doesn't name alleged sexual assault victims unless they make their identities public, which Trindade did in several interviews.

This echoes statements made by Neymar, his father and agent in the days following the May incident in which the player said he was the victim of extortion and that the incident was little more than a "setup."
Trinidade had told police that she was the victim of sexual assault by the player, who had arranged to meet her in a Paris hotel after an exchange of social media messages had taken place and later confirmed her story in several interviews.
Once the accusation became public, Neymar stated in an Instagram Live video that their brief relationship was entirely consensual.
"There was a relationship between a man and a woman between four walls. On the next day nothing happened," he said. "I hope investigators read the messages and see what happened."
More fallout from the perhaps well-intentioned #MeToo movement. Unfortunately, "believe all women" often translates to "don't believe any man". But news flash for the ideologically possessed: some men are rapists, some women lie. It's not pretty, but that's life.
