"Democracy is dead": Video shows protesters vent fury outside parliament after Brexit deal vote fail

As both Leavers and Remainers came out in force in London to show how both camps have been pissed off by this endless Brexit, ICYMI's Jonny Fencesitter was there to lend an ear.

After three years of debating, bickering, and party infighting, Brexit Day has finally come, and gone.

Despite Theresa May's promises, March 29 has become nothing more than proof of a Brexit balls-up. Thousands of Leave campaigners and Remainers took to the streets outside parliament on what should have been the UK's last day in the EU to have their voices heard - and, luckily, Jonny Fencesitter was there to report.

Comment: Brexit has done for British democracy what no scandal, whether it be expenses, collusion with foreign powers, or child rape rings in the upper echelons seems to have ever been able to do, which is expose the opportunistic political class in the UK and the bureaucrats in the EU for what they really are:

Thee people should have known better, those who have been in charger of Brexit along are the same ones who want to remain in the EU. The problem the elites have is the unwashed mass's are no more and have become the educated middle class. All over the Western so called democracies the middle class are under attack. The elites control ALL news papers, radio and TV, they are now in the process of controlling the internet, using the false notion of security. You can see what is really happening in France, Venezuela & Syria only on the internet. No one should be surprised if the UK elite orchestrate another vote, which they will make sure it cancels Brexit.

zaddick The problem may be that the elites themselves are divided on the issue? That some consider the EU to be too bureaucratic and slow, i.e, the fast track neoliberals, and others prefer the incremental approach and status quo, i.e, the slow neoliberals. Another vote will not make the brexit fiasco go away. That genie is out, and will remain out. Plus, the anti-EU parties will only grow in strength, which could undermine the whole point of the referendum in the first place, well, at least one of the main points.
