A sign? Lightning strikes St Peter's Basilica as Pope resigns

Pope Benedict has shocked a billion Roman Catholics around the world, and his closest advisers, by announcing that he will resign at the end of this month.

Within hours of Pope Benedict announcing his resignation, lightning struck St Peter's Basilica.

The Pope, who is 85 years old, has been the head of the Church since 2005.

Asteroids and empty thrones.

He resigns close to the asteroid 2012 DA14 fly by on this coming Friday.

An African Pope is named, and we have not had an African pope in around 1500 years. 1500years ago was the onset of the black death and the dark ages. I am currently reading 'The Apocolypse: Comets, Asteroids and Cyclical Catastrophies", written by Laura, and looks in some detail on the relationship between the dark ages and cometary catastrophies and falsifying of history etc.

The PTB never make decisions and take actions without an agenda, and they usually go for killing many more birds with one stone as possible.

If there is no "representative of god" sat on the throne in Rome and there is any fallout from the asteroid (minor light show or worse), you can be sure they will use that to good effect. If no fallout the fly by will I am sure still be used as a positive portent, or reenforced as a warning not to leave the throne empty and whatever that implies. Either way even without the fly by, it will all distract from the other paedophile associated shamduggery they are juggling with at this time.

Let alon ethe problems in Africa at this time and oh look, an African Pope just happens to mainefest.

Any fallout from the asteroid, or a satellite being knocked into the atmosphere can always be renamed a terrorist attack, and give some leverage to an attack on Iran, and or some shennanigens with North Korea.

We certainly do live in interesting times.
