Oliver Stone's film JFK, which dramatized New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison's criminal prosecution of Clay Shaw for his involvement in the assassination of JFK, drew it's historical context for the conspiracy from Colonel L. Fletcher Prouty, a USAF liaison officer to the CIA. I wasn't overly impressed with Ventura's TV show, but he certainly pokes a sharp stick in some hornet's nests in this interview.

Ventura is awesome!

That one thing about Prauty and the countries scared by the "elites" into agreeing to all fight in the third-world piqued my interest. Like 1984.

Not only that

They all agreed that by keeping warzones within the poorest countries, they could kill two birds with one stone: maintain population control by periodically culling the herd (you could debate whether that worked at all... or backfired even?) and get extremely rich together in the process.
