My name is [Name Removed] and last night my son and his girlfriend brought to my attention something they witnessed in the sky in Tampa, Florida. Please let me know what you think of my sighting that I witnessed with my son and his girlfriend on Sunday, July 18, in Tampa, Florida, skies, and let me know if anyone has sent you a similar story.

I know what we saw was not your ordinary rain clouds. I would be very curious to hear your opinion after reading my story. Thank you for your time.

Sunday July 17, Tampa, Florida, where myself and family currently live...

My 19-yr-old son, [Name Removed], and his 17-yr-old girlfriend witnessed what we believe to be a UFO in the northern direction of the sky. The time was around seven in the evening. My son and his girlfriend were swimming in the pool.

Both [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] witnessed in the sky a strange cloud formation. They said the clouds were shifting quickly.

My husband and I were sitting in the family room reading. [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] were waving their hands and shouting at us, trying to get our attention. When I spotted them from the window, I quickly jumped up and ran outside.

Both of them yelled "Look over there in the sky!"

The three of us witnessed a huge, dark, cloud formation. [Name Removed] said "The formation is shifting quickly, it was larger when we first saw it."

The only way I can describe it is:

If you can visualize what a clam shell looks like, laying flat on the table. Half of the top, upper shell, had individual tall, dark, clouds (as if you placed tall thin buildings along side of each other going around the upper outline of the top portion of the cloud.

Each cloud had a space between the cloud next to it, they looked as tall as straight buildings standing along side one another. But the sides of them were not smooth straight lines, they were jagged on both sides.

All stacked in a single line formation. Tall then short, repeating tall and short. (as if you were looking at someone's heart monitor on graph paper), tall, short spikes all along the upper half of the top of the cloud.

In the middle of the dark cloud was a jagged double line, like a top half and a bottom half. (like when a clam shell is beginning to open)

Bright, yellow and white lights was emerging from these two jagged lines.

Background colors behind this dark cloud of lavender, pinks, and yellows looked like they were painted over the white background.

Then within a minute or two, directly in front of this clam-shaped cloud (I'll call it), appeared out of nowhere, a black, sheer cloud in the formation of a perfect, flat triangle, the point of the triangle stretched across the sky heading south in the direction we were standing.

The triangle appeared and within a minute disappeared! Then the entire formation shifted again into normal-looking rain clouds. "What was that?, we asked each other."
