Witness Statement: Hi this is regarding a report in Ayr Scotland on 27th nov 09:-

I was walking home from Prestwick and noticed what looked like projections or light rippling through the clouds. It was very hard to miss the cloud was low that night and the effect was visible even when next to the street lights, it was as if there were a massive object just above the cloud base. There was definitely a circular pattern to whatever it was as the bands of light looked to move around a central point and were slightly curved at the ends.

This thing was massive as I walked home below it for the better part of 25 minutes. The clouds were very White which was funny as there were no other White clouds in the sky and it started to rain hailstones when the lights stopped. I did think it was a projection at first but on reaching a clearing with good visibility of the high street and surroundings in Ayr I couldn't see any source, it was dark and there was plenty of moisture in the air so it would have been easily visible at that angle. The lights were blue and revolving round a centre in an anti-clock wise motion like they were the bottom of the same spinning object.
