Location of Sighting: Surrey/Kent/Herefordshire
Date of Sighting: Sept/Oct/Nov 2009
Time: Various
Witness Statement: Since the 26th Sept 09, Zoe & I have witnessed several unexplainable sightings. The first was 26th Sep, at J7-6 of the M25.
Three of us in the car (me driving) saw 8-10 large orange orbs hovering in a strict formation above us. They glowed very bright, but did not actually give off any light.
The second was the next night at the A2/M25 junction.
We saw the same strict formation again but much further in the distance. This was now hovering above the Dartford Crossing. These lights were a lot higher than the red warning lights of the bridge.
The third was 1st Nov along the A419/417 (Swindon)
Whilst driving home from Hereford, we saw a bright white light, very high up in the distance. This sighting can only be described as the light of a lighthouse. It was extremely bright and this time Did give off light. This light stayed light for several second before suddenly going out. It instantly relit, this time at least 200m to the right. This happened a total of four times each time reappearing in different positions.
I know people can argue that as i was driving, the direction of the road had changed etc therefor making the object appear elsewhere.... but it DIDN'T. the stretch of road was straight.
The fourth was 7th Nov along the A22 at Caterham.
There was a glowing orange orb high in the sky. It looked like a ball of fire. But did not move. It was there for aprox 20 secs.
The fifth was about twenty mins later along the M26.
This time we saw our original formation again. It was again 8-10 orange orbs, giving off no light but still remaining bright. it was in the distance, seemingly hovering over the M20.
The sixth, was very creepy.... having witnessed these two sightings this night.... i had a phone call from my dad in Sittingbourne Kent, which is where we were driving to. He phoned to tell us of his strange sighting !! (we were shocked) he witnessed a glowing orange ball, seemingly on fire, Traveling across the sky. His immediate thought was an plane engine that was on fire, but it was too low and too close to be a plane.
The seventh was the following night 8th Nov, coming down Sanderstead Hill, Croydon.
This time Zoe saw two orange balls moving across the sky... by this time I was fed up of not getting a proper view. .. so I pulled over. we stopped at the top of the hill and could see i wide view over Croydon town. there were two glowing orange balls moving across the sky. I dismissed these and thought they were planes.... but then I noticed two actual planes in the sky... the sky was clear, with no cloud... the two planes had their distinct red and green strobes flashing and were moving slowly.... the two orange balls had NO flashing lights and moved quicker. The leading orb disappeared, and a third appeared behind the second one.
I tried to photo and video these on my camera but nothing showed up.
The eighth (and so far last) was in Croydon town centre. Picking Zoe up from work, and coming from East Croydon..... we sat to the left of Fairfielfd Halls, looking into a big empty sky line to the left of Blue Orchid/Nestle Building....... we saw a brilliant bright white light, quite low in the sky. This was similar to a helicopter search light.... this was lit for about thirty secs and then went out. There was no sound, and no other lights. if this was a search light from a chopper, there would be noise, and the distinct red an green warning lights.... but nothing.
Anyway ... that's it for now.... i just wanted to get all of our experiences across to you. Please please please comment .... we're confused and want to know more ...
