Location of Sighting: Castlewellan, County Down
Date of Sighting: 13 November 2009
Time: between 17:35 and 17:41 hours

Witness Statement: I was walking out of the Forest Park when I noted two very bright orange lights low down in the sky to the North East.

As I watched, one of these lights sped off towards the West and went out of view over Slievenaslat whilst the other remained stationary. Unfortunately I was unable to wait to see what happened to it as I had a bus to catch!

Previously I have seen the same bright lights over Hillsborough earlier in the year. Between my first sighting in August and this evening I have also seen Chinese Lanterns. The orange lights are totally different - much brighter and more intense in colour. Also, they 'fly' in a very different manner as, presumably, they are not subject to drifting on an air current.
