Last week the Pentagon discovered a mistake that took place 2 years ago involving a shipment of fuses for intercontinental ballistic missiles to Taiwan. News came of this just minutes after relations between China and Taiwan became heated.

A Pentagon official was questioned about this security breach. "We thought they were harmless helicopter batteries. It turns out, they were the missing parts that fit into Taiwan's missile defense system."

A news conference in Taipei, Taiwan was set up to ease the situation with interested countries. A government official described the mistake as "a mistake, it's as simple as that. We promptly shipped back the missile parts the following morning."

But when the Shipment came back to the US, another mistake was found. It was full of gold bars, and other money belonging to the bank of Taiwan.

No one from the Pentagon was available for further comment.
